My coworker and I went here as she loves the location in the mall. We had the worst experience. First the service was horrible, we were waited on by a woman with grey hair and glasses (no name tags) and when asked about kinds of pizzas she was rude and did not articulate at all. We could not understand as she spoke under her breath. She even gave us a problem with getting 2 drinks instead of just 1. After finally getting our orders in, she rang us up together so we asked her to split the check on 2 cards. She gave obvious eye rolls and could not figure it out. Despite us telling her exactly how much 1/2 of the bill was she still could not figure out how to ring us up. The guy making food came up and rang us up (thank you). After receiving our food we noticed there were no napkins and asked if there were any and were told no. When asked if there were none in the entire building she gave us 1 napkin (there are 2 of us and greasy pizza). We asked for more and she did give us a couple more. She then turned to the guy next in line and asked him why people had to be so mean on such a nice day after the flooding we have had. After all the trouble to get our order and food and the unprofessional customer service of this woman, we sit down to eat. The pizza was very greasy and tasted as if it had just been reheated pizza that no one finished the night before. The garlic knots were doughy and did not taste like garlic at all! And there was not air conditioning in the building (82 outside and muggy). Conclusion: service was horrible, food not appetizing and very hot in the building! Definitely not going to recommend anyone eat here. There are better pizza places downtown, both taste and...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at Oakdale Pizzeria in Binghamton, with the lady who works the counter, that has gray hair and glasses. First, she rang up me and my friend together, without asking if we wanted to pay separately. When asking her to split the bill in half, not only did she not know how to split the check but she gave obvious and multiple eye rolls while trying to figure it out. Then, there were no napkins in the restaurant. I asked if she could get us some. She said there were no napkins out there. I asked if she had any napkins in the building. She looked around behind the counter and then gave me one napkin. I had to ask her to give me a couple more than one napkin for the greasy food we were about to eat. While waiting for napkins, this woman said to the customer next in line, " why are people so mean when its a beautiful day outside and it seems like they are friendly when it is raining outside", obviously talking about me. I have never had such terrible experience in my life . I will not be going back to this restaurant and I will be making sure everybody I know knows what happened today ...
Read moreI work downtown and gave this place so many chances as a lunch spot but I won't waste my time here anymore. The pizza is underwhelming; the specialty pies are decent but your traditional plain/pepperoni NY style slice needs improvement. The main issue however is the laughably long wait times for food other than pizza that I've experienced on multiple occasions. The last time I went there I waited over 25 minutes for the lunch special because the individual working the counter first took my money, then served slices to at least 5 or 6 other people who had come in after me and left before she had even begun to prepare my order! It was chicken over rice and it was already cooked so all she had to do was spoon it out of crock pots which took literally 30 seconds. My entire lunch break was ruined because of her incompetence. She seemed stoned or something, grey hair and Batman hat. I have advised all of my co-workers not to bother here either....
