Mick's Pizza — Restaurant in City of Cohoes

Micks used to be one of THE BEST PIZZA PLACES AROUND. I don't know what happened, but now the pizzas just aren't the same. The bottom always has an extreme amount of Italian seasoning baked into it tou cant even brush it off, there is some strange smokey plastic taste that makes the pizza taste weird, and there is usually way to much sauce so it makes the dough soggy. I have a large family, so we always get 24cuts ... last night, everyone had one slice and said, "Nope..." alomst the whole pizza is still sitting there. Nobody even bothered to put it away. I miss how it used to be like 5 years ago. Wtf happened 😳 the other day I ordered for the first time in a while, hoping that these things were just temporary. nope. I guess this is the new reality of micks YUCK.

Update... I was over a friends house in cohoes. She ordered pizza for the kids from micks. #1 The person taking the call was rude as all heck. #2 When my friend got rude back, the lady hung up #3 she lied and said they got disconnected #4 The pizza took forever to get 3 blocks away #5 The kids got their pizza and immediately started complaining that it tastes like soap. I wasn't going to eat any of the pizza because I hadn't had any good experiences there in a few years. But once my kids started to complain, I tried it, and sure enough, it tastes like soap in parts of the pizza. Everyone got sick that ate the pizza.

And I thought immediately either they did that on purpose...or they didn't rinse the pan they cooked on, and it had a tin of dish soap on it.

Either way 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢 micks was amazing every time I had it growing up. Now it's hit or miss if it's even made properly, let alone edible. Be careful. Your kids may end up soap poisoning and extreme diarrhea!!! PS I waited a bit before I posted this so that they wouldn't be able to figure out who ordered, in case my friend ever orders from there again (Probably not) because I'm 99% sure that pizza was sabotaged...

I ordered the 2 rivers pizza. Mozzarella cheese meatballs mozzarella cheese and sauce! When I received it (delivered) it was COLD, there was maybe 1 meatball chopped up finely. I actually thought they gave me the wrong pizza! I could not see meatballs anywhere! When I called to question this the girl that answered the phone had me speak to a man, no name was given….but when he asked me the problem I told him….he then had the audacity to say what did expect to get? UNBELIEVABLE! I have ordered from Micks for probably 25 years. Over the last year customer service has been poor! Last time I ordered I had a complaint, probably 6 months ago. I swore then I wasn’t going to order from them again, but unfortunately to my being out $26.90 for a terrible pizza I now know I will definitely not be going back again ever! Poor customer service. Jessica "the manager" is UNBELIEVABLE!! I have been a loyal customer of micks pizza since they opened their doors and stole me away from pops pizza with their better tasting yummy food. My family and I order micks 5-6x a month I'd say.. Nobody can beat their pizza crust! I moved from cohoes, watervliet, and then to Latham and the entire time I have only order from micks. Today when I received my order there was something on the OUTSIDE of the wrapper, INSIDE the bag of my sub that was pretty nasty. I called to report it and JeSiCcA the manager yelled at me, questioned me doubtfully, wouldn't let me speak until I matched her energy, and then was very condescending, kept calling me ma'am and was accusing me of setting the tone for our awful talk, and then she gave me an ultimatum and I am sad to say that I no longer feeling welcome as a micks...
