Food: N/A Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 IF YOURE A POC DO NOT EAT HERE. The old lady who owns the restaurant was EXTREMELY rude to my whole family, the minute we walked in everyone stared at us as though we didn’t belong. Firstly, they refused to sit us all together and tried to split us on different parts of the restaurant. All we asked was to move a single chair. When they finally agreed, we informed the server that we had a small, muzzled, silent dog in a carrier that we were going to put in the elevated seating area such that we were surrounding her and she didn’t bother anyone in the restaurant. This, apparently, was not good enough, because the owner angrily shuffled over with her walker and YELLED at us, saying we can’t have a dog unless it’s a service dog. This would have been fine, if not for the yelling, and we tried to explain that the dog was muzzled and won’t bother anyone. She said, in a very ugly way “I DONT CARE!!! YOU CAN’T HAVE A DOG HERE!!!” before we could even get the whole sentence out. This restaurant is about family first? We came to eat brunch after a wedding— three families saying goodbye to each other and because of the staring, attempted separation, and gremlin Donna, we couldn’t even say goodbye to each other. If you want good food on market street, go to Babes Bagels and Beans. In fact, I’m certain ANY restaurant will have better food, because food coming from Donna has no...
Read moreIf you’re reading this find somewhere else to go. I came in the morning and was seated by an old cranky lady. Gave nothing but disrespect and attitude. Prices might not seem as bad at first glance but don’t worry they charge an extra couple of dollar for each topping for an omelet with cheddar cheese, onions, spinach, and peppers was 14$!!!! In just the toppings inside that’s not even including the 7.25$ it already is!!! You’re looking at a 25$ omelet by time you get any ham or bacon in it. Then the old lady had the nerve to turn around to 3 customers and said “ can you believe they just called me disrespectful” TO CUSTOMERS. Absolutely ridiculous and so disappointing will never ever even consider going there again. If you want recommendations go to Anne’s pancakes in Elmira the customer service is a million times better aswell as the prices!!!! For the same omelette from Anne’s ( ham, bacon, sausage, peppers, onion, muchroom, tomato & cheese ) 9.50$ compared to the almost 25$ they’re trying to charge. Just please if you’re reading this please reconsider your options of other local places nearby. Just fyi I’m not the type to leave reviews this is my first bad review I’ve ever left. This place was very disappointing as me and my gf were trying a new...
Read moreI love Donna and her staff . They are absolutely amazing. Look at my reviews if I give 5 stars it's because it's earned. And I've been going here for 3 year before I've actually given my review. That's saying a lot. Because every single time it's been a 5 service that's earned a 5 star review. It's a old school mom pop vibe spot. This is the local spot in corning that's a hole in a wall. If your visiting , you have to stop here. If your a local and you never knew about it, it'll be like discovering gold. No other place makes homade hash out here . Hands down if your looking for a Ruben ? Hello get it here. If you got a sweet tooth ? Hello homade pies , muffins and desserts ? Where can you go wrong ? Great french toast and pancakes. Lots of child friendly options too , everyone will find something to enjoy here. Coffee is very good too. It's a simple cup of coffee but a darn good one at that . No bougie cups of coffee here just simply old school at its best. Come and be happy with out breaking the bank or go somewhere else and get mediocre food and service and pay almost double or triple . No trainer come here...
