Worst gyro ever. Very disappointed of our lunch today. I have been to pita gourmet in numerous times in the past and everything was very good but this time was the worst experience ever. It is my fiancée’s and I first time to Pita Gourmet in like 3 years and we definitely noticed the difference. We got the chicken gyro and there was barely any chicken in it (attached picture). The lentil soup was basically just lentils with TONS of pepper, the Shawarma plate was extra small, and it tasted terribly. For apps we ordered falafels 🧆 and they were dry and cold. ANYTHING of what we ordered we liked. I usually do not like to be a Karen, but this were so hungry and this experience made me extra HANGRY. I left the whole gyro, and even told the server we were very dissatisfied and she did nothing to get us the manager or try to give us a discount. I’m still extra mad.

Decent place with authentic Mediterranean food cooked to order. I had the spicy chicken beast and asked for it hot, it was very good but not as hot as I would have liked. The beef kebab was cooked with onion and was decent but I wouldn't order it again as the beef was pretty hard to chew through. The greek salad was great, fresh feta cheese, tomatoes and olives with a pit still inside. Best thing I had was the baklava, and I think this was probably the best baklava I've ever had! Would highly recommend it to any fan of baklava, it was definitely made in house and the Crispy crunchy filo dough was perfect and the touch of honey was not overwhelming at all, mildly sweet I'd call it. Would definitely go back, especially for the baklava.

Excellent hummus and baba ganoush, by far the best in the area. Better than anything in Ithaca, also ran by a very nice family. We will definitely be back!

First of all, hands down the best dolma and falafel in the area, by far. I spent two months in Palestine and the closest you can get to real falafel and hummus is here!

Second of all, they are amazingly friendly. I love their takeout but had only eaten in a few times, and had the most amazing experience last time. My friend and I came in with our two babies for a mom's lunch. We are both first time moms and haven't been out much with our babies. Hanna and her husband came out from the back and held our babies so that we could eat. Other patrons stopped by our table to thank us for bringing our babies. Someone paid for our lunch. It was a wonderful experience that really reaffirmed my faith in humanity. If you have a baby, this is the place to bring them!

We love, love...
