I did the 60-min $68 scalp treatment that went viral on instagram by queen.sav . It was accurate to the video, except a couple of things to note are: the scalp massages can be intense, so if you're sensitive, you may not like the intense scrubbing feeling, and afterwards, your hair is pretty floofy (though they do brush it out and smooth it out with oil at the end). The treatment leaves your hair the cleanest it's ever been in your life--way more than a salon does. At the end, they even show you what your hair looks like under a microscope! That means that if you're thinking of putting color in your hair, you shouldn't do it soon before the treatment, because a lot of it will get washed off (my pink highlights by my scalp were blonde at the end), but it leaves your hair in GREAT condition to be colored afterward (I re-did my pink dye when I got home from the treatment and the color was super intense). Also, they have a reward card where, after 10 paid visits, you get a free 60-minute massage! All in all, this is such a gem. Note: you can't book appointments online; you have to call, and when you call, you need to know what treatments you want, since it corresponds to the amount of time they book you for, so call prepared. And for those who drive, parking is super easy, since there's a free lot next to...
Read moreThe first time I visited this spa, I was immediately struck by the tranquil ambiance. Soft, soothing music filled the air, and the scent of essential oils created a sense of calm as soon as I walked in. The staff welcomed me warmly, making me feel instantly at ease.
During the head spa, I was treated to a truly indulgent experience. The therapist used a combination of gentle massage techniques and luxurious hair products that left my scalp feeling refreshed and my mind relaxed. It was more than just a treatment; it was a revitalizing journey for my senses.
As for the massage, it was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had. The therapist was not only skilled but also attentive to my needs, ensuring every knot and tension was expertly addressed. The pressure was just right, and I left feeling rejuvenated and lighter.
What made the experience truly exceptional was the genuine kindness of the people working there. They took the time to personalize the treatments and engage in friendly conversation, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my visit. It's no wonder I can't wait to return for another pampering session at this remarkable spa!

Read moreMy partner and I booked an hour-long couples massage and were running late. However, they were very accommodating to our schedule despite their schedule. You have to climb some stairs, but they are very inviting once you enter–greeting us and offering us water. Afterward, we chose from various body oils and went straight for our massages. No, wait at all. It was a warm, intimate massage environment–dimmed lights and calm instrumental background music. The oil was warm, and they asked multiple times, how are you feeling? We also booked the hot stone massage, which was pretty hot, but they moved it around our backs to prevent burning. My partner enjoyed this part the most! This massage is different and, in many ways, better than the traditional Swedish massages we've experienced. They focused mainly on our backs but made time to work on most of our bodies (front and back). After the massage, we felt light and refreshed, with no pain that some massages give. We enjoyed it the most and will be coming back, even though it's an hour's drive from where we live. Thank you again, Island Spa Club. I wish we had the names of our massage therapists, but thank you...
