Ordered food from the Glen Cove location, 90 minutes later still no delivery, when I called I was told it should have been delivered but no additional help or call back. Beware!
The owner's response is nonsensical. No one really cares if you had had or or not any complaints tonight before anyone else complained. And no, I did not use an "app", I ordered straight from your website. Doubling down on your denial that there wasn't a problem does not change a thing as far as I am concerned. If you wanted to talk, and be professional, you could have called me back when I called to inquire about the order.
Update: someone from the restaurant called this morning and left a message to call back. That's ok but only after being suggested to do so. There's nothing really to talk about as I won't order from you anymore yet thank you for the call. The estimated time for the delivery through your website was 45 to 55 minutes. The destination was a mere 2 miles away. I received the order after I called to inquire, about 98 minutes later. Almost double of what was estimated by your website. Yes, it's fair to rate that kind of lateness. The food, 2 small pizzas, chicken strips, fries and a panini were average. By the time I took them out they were lukewarm but certainly not hot. How else can they be 98 minutes later? All in all, and because of the phone call I received, I think it's fair to award you 3 stars for the food and overall 2 stars. Happy holidays...
Read moreI know the owners are trying, and I don't want to insult the married couple - so I'm going to leave it at 3 stars to hold myself accountable in hopes of changing it to a 5 star one day.
Not a problem, here you go: Broccoli Soup was very bland, no salt. Paccheri Pasta with Salmon - no flavor, salmon tasted fishy. Additionally, it's not aesthetically pleasing seeing the brown fatty layer mixed into the pasta dish. Stated 3x no tomato in panini - I get home and of course there's tomato in the panini. $1.50 for a small portion of sauce - instead of adding bread and some beets which serves as useless - provide the customer with a small complimentary side of sauce. chicken cutlet panini with mozzarella - very dry.
There is no need to address my concerns with a rebuttal back, I've traveled the world and have eaten at many restaurants- good and bad. I know what I am talking about - I just hope this helps you address these concerns to improve on your new location. That plot of land has been cursed by many others and i surely wouldn't want to see you...
Read moreI literally just ordered through GrubHub today and tried my first panini from this place. I live down the street, and it was delivered still nice and warm. The bread for me was crisp to perfection (I hate when it's too crunchy/hard to the point where it's tearing up your gums). I ordered the Ancona panini, which had a nice kick to it, and added some herb mayo on the side to try, which was very good. Honestly, it's one of the best paninis I've had. I'm so happy they're literally down the street from me where I can quickly go and pick something up on my way home from work or when I'm just in the mood for a good salad/sandwich. I'm sure they're hot food items are also delicious! It's also nice to have a new food establishment in the area that isn't a chain fast food place. You can get some quality real food here that is better for you (and I'm a dietitan). I'm excited to try the prosciutto panini and salads next time. Hope this place sticks around because the area needs some better choices. Wishing you the best of luck and welcome...
