I used to love going to the old card shop when I was in the area. The people were so nice and we made it a tradition as cousins to go to this card shop every time we would see each other. I was so excited when the new card store opened, I went today and was so disappointed, the prices on wax and singles were outrageous. They were not willing to negotiate. We showed them recent comps and they just ignored us, not willing to work with you at all. Needless to say we will not be continuing our family tradition and we will find a new card shop ( one that doesn’t charge $25 for a Topps hanger box from this year) to continue the tradition with. I Give this 1 star as a card shop and the only reason I will give them a generous 2 stars is the Jackie Robinson display. If the owners actually read there feedback please make changes not only are you making the hobby less affordable but you are blocking kids out of it. Kids looking to buy a pack/hanger box should not have to pay $25-30 for something they should only be paying $10 for. ...

What an awesome shop with an amazing crew! As soon as I walked in I was greeted immediately and asked if there was anything I needed help with. My eyes lit up when I saw how well stocked and organized the store was with a wide variety of different cards and other memorabilia and collectibles. Fred and Sammy were able to help me start the process of sending a card to be graded, a process that felt very daunting to me for a while. Both were super friendly and knowledgeable about the process and I felt comfortable leaving my card with them. Before I left I knew I had to get a box of something and what was nice was they didn't try to just sell me what was new or most expensive they asked what I was into and made suggestions from there. It was also nice to see that they more than just high end boxes but also blasters and hangers as well which is great for younger collectors and even new collectors getting into the hobby. 5 Stars! 10/10! I had a similar issue once before like the person who left a review earlier today about how they agreed to a price on the card, but then changed the price to a higher price when the customer returned (saying it was because he didn’t have the money on him, but would return shortly to acquire the card). These guys genuinely do only look at you as a dollar bill. And yes, $8 for 100 penny sleeves really does say it all about this establishment.

Also, it’s important to point out that when they received the 1-star review earlier today, magically they get 20+ 5-star reviews out of thin air. When they weren’t even averaging that many reviews a week prior to today. They’re padding their review rating by having friends post illegitimate reviews.

If all of that doesn’t speak to the establishment and the owners, I don’t know what will.
