ClayNation — Attraction in City of Glen Cove

Clay Nation was my first experience doing pottery painting. I didn't know what to expect, i was overwhelmed, but i LOVE IT! The staff was very helpful and patient with my newbie questions. I love the pieces I made and still use them to this day. Definitely come in with a plan if you arent very creative, like me. It takes more time than I thought. It's very relaxing too and as a grown up I know I dont do enough crafting. I plan to take my kids too. We did pottery painting with them on a vacation and they were so happy to know we had a place near us where we could do it too. I highly recommend Clay Nation. Very disappointing experience. Bought Groupon that did not make it clear that you would have to pay many times the cost of the Groupon when you arrived to do any of the advertised activities. It turns out the Groupon was only for the paint. When you arrive, you have to pay many times the cost of the Groupon for the material to paint on, which were marked up many times their cost. You could not bring your own materials or paint on paper.
