Denny's — Restaurant in City of Industry

So usually the service at this Dennys is good. But this time we went late almost 10pm. So the young waitress and bus boy were chatting it up while we waited for someone to take our order. Finally someone came. Then after we were done eating I guess the change of shift occurred because our waitress was gone, she didn't even come to our table to inform us that someone else would take over and she didn't inform the oncoming waitress either. So we were trying to get someone's attention because we needed to pay the check but the oncoming waitress seem to be avoiding our table. Never once did she stop and asked if we need anything. I had to go up to her and ask her for a box and check. At that time I also stated to her that we have been saying excuse me for a 15mins but no one came to our table to help. And she just gives me a look and stays quiet, gives me the to go box and walks away. RUDE. She then goes to her supervisor who is at the cash register and whispers to her...I guess telling her I was upset. But never once did they approach me and apologize until I bring it up again at the register. It wasn't until then that the supervisor said Sorry. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If the employees feel they have a right to ignore and give the customer an annoyed look then something is wrong with management. LEARN TO HAVE GENERAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. HAVE GOOD WORK ETHIC. SHOW DISCIPLINE. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AT THIS DENNYS TILL THAT NIGHT. To both waitresses and supervisor that evening can you please treat others how you would like to be treated. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER MANAGER DOESNT KNOW WHAT HIS ROLE ENTAILS! Customer service is terrible here, I placed an Uber order because my car isn’t working right now. Long story short 1/2 of my order was missing when delivered. I contacted Uber eats driver she mentioned that she asked the person at the restaurant if this was the complete order they said yes….obviously it wasn’t. Uber driver then told me contact the restaurant let them know and they will send another driver out to you. I then called the restaurant woman who answered said let me get my manager. She put him on the phone he “couldn’t hear me” put her back on the phone she said it’s the same lady…he gets back on the phone …doesn’t ask how he can resolve the situation, instead midway through me explaining the problem he hands the phone to a middle eastern employee who I guess handles the pick up orders…he said “place another order and come pick it up” I said if I was able to do that do you think I would’ve have ordered delivery in the first place?” He said (from what I could understand) we gave entire order maybe Uber kept it…I couldn’t believe what I was hearing not only did they not assist with resolving issue but they bad mouthed Uber who they’re partnered with. Entire staff needs an updated training on how to treat customers and manager needs to realize his role is more than just a title. Ohh and this isn’t the first time they screw up….so done with Denny’s going to IHOP have 1 star because 0...

This is my go to spot after a long night of fun or during a long night of fun!! Open 24/7 this place has come in handy many times and has been my personal cure for a hang over. I have seems fights go down to arrest be made here. This location tends to bring in the most interesting people in town. As for the customer service I would say it needs some work and they need to remember that the customer comes first. Some of the host can be a short and the servers tend to go MIA. I think the real MVP at these locations are the cooks. They need to let the cooks go around seeing how people like the food. They need to train these cooks better add some really great tasting menu items. The current menu items are good but compared to places on the east coast we are falling behind. Come on Denny's let's step it up we suppose to run the West side. Everyone always looks to the West side for the next ride.
