Bank Coffee — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

I thought this was a real bank that saved you money but it was a scam all along.....I got two orders, $4.99 each on the "too good to go" app, an app to help people in need by saving food that was going to be thrown away at the end of the day. Well i go in and they take a few items out of the glass case and put them in a small bag, it's two small clear takeout cases. In each one is 3/4 filled with reg croissants. The rest is: 1 very very dark type dark choc, 2 dime sized macroons and a caramel playing card pastry. I might be desperate and hungry but I'm not stupid and i certainly don't take advantage of desperate people myself so this is why i posted this review so that others don't go to the bank of coffee and find nothing in...

Friendly cafe in downtown with nice decor. good spot for a study session or catching up with friends. I personally find this place has a typical underlying smell which is not of baked goods or coffee beans, and I find it unpleasant. This smell/flavor lingers in the baked goods too, even if in have it next day. Although the texture of their pastries is good, the taste is knocked off by that weird smell/flavor. I hope they find the source and fix it. The coffee was disappointing. It was a bitter flat white, with very foamy milk. The coffee was bad in both taste and texture. Me and mom stopped in real quick to grab some coffee when doing some holiday shopping in the commons. I saw it was new and we got a vanilla latte and a hot chocolate. We added whip cream to the hot chocolate and they asked us if we wanted marshmallows (no extra charge for both) and he even toasted the marshmallows for us!! The drinks tasted delicious (i am super picky with my drinks as a ex starbucks barista😂)! The service was great and the prices for two drinks plus tip was $10.10!!
