As it was my first time going to this restaurant, I was optimistic to go and buy and try their fresh juice as it is in their menu. As soon as I went to them to take my order, I asked her where the mango and pineapple were in my juice. I did not see their source in the juice I ordered. The cashier told me that it lost the cranberries, which loses all the colors of the other things added to the berries. I told her that this is something convincing. I paid the full expensive amount without giving her a tip because I suspected that the juice might be adulterated. So I took the juice and left because they would close at 6 pm. As soon as I arrived home, I did not drink it immediately because I was fasting, and I decided that the fresh juice would be my breakfast for fasting. As a biology student and researcher of living materials and sources that cannot be seen with the naked eye, I decided to add a sample of the juice that I bought for a huge amount and use my electric microscope to make sure that the source of the mango and pineapple was added to my juice. The surprise was that my juice did not contain any sources. For mango and pineapple according to my request and according to the huge amount that I paid, this is a big deception as this is my first time going to this site, and as long as others are satisfied with the deception that their juice is made up of everything they asked for, then it is okay as long as they will pay a high price for fraud and deception, but I will recover my right peacefully and the deceivers will pay a high price for their audacity to deceive customers by not adding the sources of the buried order and as the cashier went far away fleeing from the reality of the deceitful deception that she is skilled at as soon as I asked her about the source of the mango and pineapple that I paid for in my requested juice and the price of which was buried high, as long as this is their audacity with deceit and deception it will not last , if there where options to not give them any star I would choose zero star according...
Read moreI come here often as I live on the Commons, but some of my recent experiences have put a strange taste in my mouth. The older woman with light hair and glasses, who I assume is a manager or maybe an owner, was yelling at an employee as I was standing there waiting to order. Not sure what it was about, but it was very unprofessional, no matter what issue it could have been. Talking to your co-workers/employees that way is an ugly look, especially in front of customers. This older woman tends to get my orders wrong too like 80% of the time she takes or makes them.. There is also a younger gentleman, very tall with dark maybe-curly hair, and he always looks at me like... he's annoyed at me? Very prominent frown on his face and not very friendly, it's a bit unsettling. I'm unsure if it's just me he's like this to (though I always try to be friendly and polite, and tip at least $5 every time, even if I'm just grabbing a baguette or something) or if he's like this to all the customers. I'm tempted to not even tip when he rings me out at the register.... but that wouldn't be fair to the other workers. Every other employee at this location is friendly and top-tier, especially the girls! If it weren't for the other employees, I would probably be giving a...
Read moreI think it's been 30 years since I've had an actual good bagel from CTB. When I was in highschool we'd stop by the first CTB in Collegetown and they were still so hot from the ovens, they doubled as hand warmers as I walked to school.
Not so much today. The bagels are chronically undercooked and apparently dipped in water not hot enough. I asked if they have any bagels baked "today" at 6:45AM and get a bagel that was at best 20 hours old. They've moved to a central commissary system so nothing has been baked in the storefronts for several years. Gone are the days of a baskets with little signs that they're still gasp
