440 Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Kingston

We decided to try this place out as a change from our usual local haunts for delivery. Disappointing. Delivery that was promised in the normal 45 min to 1 hour came 1.5 + hours later. Our order of penne ala vodka with chicken arrived without chicken and the "vodka sauce" was simply marinara sauce with ricotta cheese blended in. My husband's chicken parmesan sub was just ok. The chicken on the sub was not a cutlet even. It was chopped chicken breast. Called to ask where our order was after more than an hour. At first were told "he just left. He'll be there momentarily". Waited 25 + more minutes. Finally our order arrives. Take note this was a Monday night. Not the weekend. Then called to let them know the order was wrong. They argued with me, put me on hold to "speak to the guy in the kitchen" and then offered to send a "new one". I denied the offer because I didn't want to wait another hour and a half plus for chicken. We will see if they refund the missing chicken from my pasta which was an up charge....

440 Pizza is THE best pizza in Kingston. Their pizza tastes like real New York pizza. Thin, crispy crust, sauce with garlic and a little zing, topped with a generous amount of mozzarella. Really good pizza.

They put up daily specials on their Facebook page that are a delicious good deal. For around $6 a piece, the options usually include a small 1 topping pizza, calzone or stromboli, the hot and cold sub of the day, a salad and pasta option. You can get 2 meals and a dessert for about $20 including delivery. Awesome deal.

They also have a great selection of sides and appetizers.$3 for a big bag of curly fries or onion rings. Their desserts include FRIED OREOS! 3 fried Oreos for $2. Their cannoli was also excellent, crunchy shell with delicious homemade tasting filling.

Great food, good prices, friendly service over the phone, fast delivery of fresh hot food. What more could you want?...

Edit: The shop responded defensively, calling this a fake review. I assure you I'm a real person with over a million views on Google Reviews. I had hoped they would take the criticism and improve their pizza, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Sorry.

This was one of the worst slices I've ever had. I waited a week to write this. It's my easy for me to write bad reviews. I hate doing it. But this pizza was really really bad. If the shop changes their recipe and changes their pizza, and then comments to me that they did this, I will remove this review. But they have to change it up. It was horrible. They should go down the block to the slice shop and see how they do it. I'm writing this because this place has to...
