This may not be high class eating, but it is first class for a good quick bite! This place is a Kingston staple serving hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, and fries.

Ideally you want to try the Dallas dog: a hot dog with a spicy meat sauce, mustard, and finely diced onion on a soft hot dog bun. It’s the signature dish here.

But keep in mind you can order the sauce with just about anything on the menu. I recommend ordering fries with sauce and cheese.

As a note of forewarning, this place is a cash only establishment. There is an ATM, but I suggest you come prepared with your paper money.

There are several Dallas hot weiners locations in the area. In Kingston you’ll find one uptown on north front street, and one on broadway in midtown. I have been eating here for about 30 years and without a doubt one of the best places to eat in the valley; IF you like hot dogs of course,. The classic dog with everything will never disappoint, so even if you don't usually eat chili on your hot dogs; make sure that you try at least one with everything. The chili sauce is specifically made to be hot dog chili. With the hot dog being only $2; I would put this against most hot dogs in the country on a PpB value( Price per bite) and against anything else in the state. Yes, I know that sushi or steak is better, but not on the PpB scale. A true Hudson Valley gem and a must eat; if you like hot dogs of course.

And while I have venture somewhat beyond the my usual order of 4 dogs with everything and a large coke; I have not been satisfied whenever I did that. While the other food isn't bad; it doesn't shine like the hot dog...

the BEST hot dog joint in the country. this restaurant is a staple and sets the bar extremely high for value, friendliness and deliciousness. the family/owners are well rounded and down to earth people. they go above and beyond the call to treat everyone with respect and give them the level of care and welcoming every person wants and needs. there is nothing negative to say about this restaurant or its staff. if there was an option for 6 stars, this place...
