You know the saying "priced to sell"? Well, at Zaborski's it seems to be "priced to sit". Despite passing all the rusted radiators in the parking lot, we had high hopes and immediately saw a couple of items we were interested in when we walked in the door, but the prices were really high. Not only that, but as we ventured in, the place was dusty, dirty and cold. Spread over four floors, they clearly have good items mixed with the usual junk, but everything is heaped together and if you try to move things to get a closer look, you'll get pretty dirty. What a shame - this place has so much potential. If they could clear out one floor, get a good visual merchandiser to help with their displays, and set more reasonable prices, merchandise would start flying off...

This antique store in Kingston is truly massive — four floors and over 33,000 square feet of inventory. I spent two hours exploring, hoping to discover something special, and while there’s no shortage of unique items, the space is so densely packed it’s hard to navigate or connect with individual pieces. Prices are on the higher end — even small tins and architectural fragments started around $45, with limited room for negotiation. Some of the pieces I asked about weren’t even for sale, which was disappointing. Staff felt a bit guarded and didn’t seem eager to share the stories behind the items. Worth a stop if you’re looking for a visual adventure, but not ideal for serious collectors hoping to make a...

I loved it! It had everything you could need for your old home. However I gave it only 3 stars because I saw a lot of antique items that I have purchased from other antique places in upstate ny and the prices here were very inflated in comparison. If your looking for one of a kind items then this is the place for you. If your looking for something old but less rare then I would check elsewhere. Albany Ny has a smaller salvage place on Lexington ave. It is very reasonable. I bought 5 vintage dresser drawers for $8. A piece. We are adding drawers into the wall of...

I had an appointment around the corner but I was early so I decided to check out Zaborski’s Emporium. Long story short, you really have to go yourself to get a good sense of the place. If you do want to shop, I think one of two strategies will work: either know exactly what you’re looking for and there is a very good chance they have it and the friendly folks in the front will know where to find it - or just wander around and you’ll be sure to find things you never knew you had to have. Enjoy!

Wow!! An incredible eclectic mix of goodies! Four warehouse floors filled from floor to ceiling with everything you can imagine… from housewares, to lighting, to doors, to luggage, to plumbing… I could go on and on. The prices are a bit high, but everything seems to be negotiable and the salespeople are very quick to respond to any inquiries you may have about the merchandise. It took me a year to find this place, but I guarantee that now that I’ve discovered it, I will be back soon!!
