Went for the wife’s b day and it had been years since I have eaten here. Parking can be a challenge if there is an event going on. Amanda was our server and did a great job with recommending choices. So I like that they provide 3 breads in the complementary basket. We ordered the meatball and they were good garlic bread with mozzarella. Meatballs were good, I wasn’t impressed with the garlic mozzarella bread, it just wasn’t a great bread and was less than stellar the sauce that came with it was just mid. I did sample the sample the salted carmel martini and it was good. So onto dinner as I ordered the stead as was told it was amazing and it was. Who would guess Italian restaurant with amazing steak. Others reported they liked their food as we have the chicken parm and penny à la vodka with chicken. We needed doggy bags as you have to have dessert. So we ordered four different desserts in overall they were good no complaints.

This was our first time going and we had to get takeout. It was so good, I had to call the restaurant and tell them. I've worked restaurant most of my life, from management, to cook, and kitchen manager. Our phone order was taken by Terry or Theresa (i believe). She was super nice, personable, and helped me with all my questions. We got the Family to-go deal #1. Penne a la vodka, Caesar salad and bread. We added the meatball app, calamari fritti, and bocconcini. My wife had to run in a pick up the food because i currently have a bum foot, but they offered to help walk out our order to the car. All these little things add up to why they've been around since the early 70's (if i read correctly). Everything was absolutely amazing. I can't wait till me and the wife can have a proper date night and sit for a meal. Thank you for making this family so happy.

First time going to this restaurant and it was probably one of the best restaurants I've been to. This was for a special occasion - my grandmother's birthday. There is a deal if there is a birthday, too. We had a lot of people but there was no problem with it. Everyone loved their food. The table also has a paper table cloth for drawing on which is great for children. I had a special that was the classic turkey feast, and it was AMAZING!! Same for my dessert of a rasberry dark and white mousse cake. The waiter was fantastic, too. Definitely entertaining and did more than what was needed. The place looks huge, but it is gorgeous inside. It was clean everywhere. Definitely would recommend this place for a special occasion. It's a bit pricey but worth it for great food!

If I was just rating the food alone, it would be a 5 star rating. Food was delicious. However, our overall experience left much to be desired; especially when you are celebrating a Birthday and chose very carefully which restaurant you wanted to go to! We didn't choose it just for the $25 off our bill, although that is a wonderful incentive.

We made the reservation days in advance. We made note that we were celebrating my Husband's Birthday. We arrived, with our 5 year old son, and talked to the hostess about how we were excited to be there and celebrating a Birthday. Somehow our waitress didn't get the memo. Poor communication between the hostess and waitress. Also, our waitress never asked if we were celebrating anything. What a missed opportunity for customer service. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, a salad, a Family entree and a personal pizza for our son. We know it's not fast food, we expect the meal to take longer when you go somewhere nice. We waited 45 minutes between when we were done with our meal and needing to-go containers. We tried many times to get our waitress' attention to no avail. I thought that was inconsiderate since we had a small child with us. Of course we wanted dessert but by the time our waitress came back...we were ready for the check. She came back to the table with the check and we said, "Oh, we are celebrating a Birthday and we don't see the $25 credit." She preceded to blame us for not telling her about the Birthday and she left to adjust the check. We waited another 10 minutes and she came back and told us we won't be receiving the full $25 credit because we ordered a Family entree and not an individual entree. She reiterated, "Had we told her about the birthday she could of explained that when we were ordering." Why didn't the hostess explain? Why doesn't their website explain?

The website states, "Don’t miss your chance to get a Complimentary Birthday Dinner at Frank Guido’s Little Italy in Kingston, NY. On the day of your birthday, come down to Little Italy with proof of id and birth date, and your meal is on us!

*Valid for one entree up to a $25 value, not valid with any other promotion, only valid the day of your birthday, proof required."

We bought an entree and more! Last year, on my Birthday, we got the $25 credit for a family entree. It didn't seem fair to us. Especially since we had bought gift certificates to their restaurants for family members for Christmas too. I should mention we don't require a lot! We aren't picky, we don't ask a lot of questions, we are polite to our servers and tip well when our basic needs are met in a timely manner. I'm sorry to say that we were very disappointed and won't...

I sit here with tears flowing down my face as I type this post! Today is my 16 year anniversary and my husband decided to surprise me and take me here for dinner. We walked in and asked to be seated and was told a 20 minute wait, cool no problem we will sit at the bar have a drink and wait to be seated. The bartender Alicia was very attentive, she came right over, got my drink order, fixed it, then got my husband a beer. We mingled with other couples waiting to be seated having a great time. As it started getting more busy then it already was, and the couples that were there before us were being seated, I got up and reminded Bonnie (The Manager) that we are waiting to be seated, she said "yes I know". I went back to join my husband at the bar laughing with the bartender and others. I happened to look over and noticed a couple that came in after my husband and I being seated, I quickly got up and went directly to Bonnie the "Manager" and asked how did that couple get seated before us she immediately says because another bartender told her..... I stopped listening and walked away and grabbed my jacket to exit. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! How dare Bonnie try to place blame on anyone else, and I kindly reminded her that were waiting before she seated the couple that came after us. NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE RUINED MY NIGHT 😢😢😢😢 THANKS BONNIE!! I have 4 children and do not get out much and on our 16th anniversary, your inconsiderate behavior will be remembered to not go there EVER!!!! A simple I am sorry would have sufficed, but no you could not find it in you to apologize, even after I came back in to find out who was who, you could care less that it was our anniversary smh at the Owners of this place I am a business owner and I would not have a person like that at my front line! This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and I didn't even get to taste the food shame,...

Out of the blue on a warm summer evening around 8pm, I stopped by for dinner. The hostess stand did not have a hostess or waitstaff. There were staff at the bar, but no one spoke to me. So, I waited 15 mins for someone to assist me. The manager finally came over. She obviously was stressed and took it out on me. I replied to her rudeness and expressed dissatisfaction and thanked her for her time and decided to leave. She and the waiter offered to seat me at another table, but I had to wait for it to be cleaned and set up. I agreed to wait. I ordered the risotto sausage and broccoli special. I also ordered the drink special and a glass of wine. I enjoyed both drinks. The risotto obviously had be altered because it tasted disgusting. I guess it is true one should not upset restaurant staff regardless of how unprofessional they are for they will put gross things in your food. Learned that lesson the hard way at Frank Guido's Little Italy. Finally, I requested to pay my check after tasting the risotto. Neither the wait staff nor the manager checked in or followed up with me to see if everything was OK with my meal, even though a full bowl of risotto was left. However, I was offered another...
