Matteo's Pizza — Restaurant in City of Kingston

I have been ordering from Broadway Pizza as long as I have been in Kingston. The last order I made was for a sicilian pizza, a garden salad, and boneless wings (almost 50 dollars). My pizza was delivered without salad or wings. I called back the delivery guy came back with chicken nuggets, and no salad. I called and spoke with the owner Bill. He sent the delivery guy back out with the wrong salad. I called and asked him not to send the young man out again (which he didn't). Bill said "I will take care of you on your next order." Which I took to mean the next order would have been free. I called tonight and ordered the exact same order and explained what the owner said. Eventually Bill got on the phone and told me he couldn't give me a 50 dollar order for free, that my previous order was right, and that he said I said I would take care of you... after going back and forth and was arguing with me and he said yes, but you can not get your order for free. So I said okay what are you offering he said uh...10%. I said okay thank you and hung up. Tonight is the last time I will patronize this establishment. It is really disappointing because I love Broadway Pizza but if this is coming from the owner I will not support a shop that goes back on its word and is unwilling to even hear what I have to say around customer service. NEVER AGAIN

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats and got the chicken parm and tuscan panini. The chicken parm was weirdly lemony (like it had been sitting in a lemon bath for a few days) which clashed with the cheese making a nauseating combo like curdled milk.

The pasta along side the chicken was rich with ricotta which would’ve been great if it didn’t have a spoiled, almost barf-like flavor. I wish I was joking….

The garlic bread was nothing special and the side salad was fresh but very very small, even in the smallest plastic container it was small.

The tuscan chicken panini was supposedly one of the best and most popular dishes on the menu. It was better than the chicken parm which isn’t saying much but lacked flavour and the chicken was quite dry, not at all fresh. Even the french fries were soggy and completely under seasoned. They tasted like fry oil. MMM 🤨

I don't like the taste of eggplant, which I hope means something when I say this is the best eggplant parm pizza I've ever had, let alone in Kingston. The pizza was crispy on the bottom, the eggplant was crispy, the veggies were fresh and not soggy, and there were hunks of ricotta. Very clean inside, and the cashier who helped us very kindly let us know the Yosy coconut strawberry drinks (nondairy) were 5$/ea, which is pricey, but we went for it and they were also very good. Third time getting eggplant pizza here and it's been great each time! Their buffalo chicken pizza is also very good. Garlic knotts are tiny as a heads up, but I'd still get them again. Only thing I'd note is dine in and take away that's not going very far def stays crispier (vs delivery, which is to be expected). Consistent vegetarian options that aren't bland or boring. 4 specialty slices and 2 fancy beverages was 25$ (total, for two people) and I would...
