The food here is fine, but the customer service is SO BAD. I have had two very unfortunate experiences here a few years apart and unfortunately I would no longer recommend this place to anyone.
The first time I was doing the all you can eat sushi with a friend and they cut us off and refused to let us order anything but one dessert after a few rounds. They kept saying “you can’t order that”. When we asked if they were out of it the just repeated “you can’t order that”. We were basically told we could get dessert and the check. I haven’t been back there since until today…
It’s been a few years and I went today with my boyfriend because we were passing through Kingston and wanted an all you can eat place. It’s the only place that showed up on google.
When we sat down and were handed the menus I told our waitress we wanted to do “all you can eat sushi” and she said ok we should order off the menus she had just given us. So we did. She kept coming back and asking if we wanted to order more food or drinks. At the end we got the bill and it was not all you can eat, everything was just normal price (itemized receipt) and when we asked to fix it they said “We don’t do all you can eat anymore”. They did not do anything to fix our bill - it was extremely expensive compared to what we were expecting and I’m highly disappointed in this establishment.
Online is says all you can eat, there is a recent review for all you can eat specifically and I said several times while we were there we wanted that option.
I have worked in restaurants and I know occasionally there are mistakes, but this was definitely just poor service. I wanted to give them another chance because sometimes you have a misunderstanding, but I believe this place knows exactly what they are doing and just wants to get you to spend a lot of money. Needless to say we are very angry about this experience and I feel like they ripped us...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this sushi spot for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of those places that just feels like a little hidden gem. The sushi is always fresh, like melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the rolls are packed with flavor. I’ve tried a lot of spots, but something about this place keeps me coming back. But what really makes it stand out is the service. There’s this one waitress..she’s seriously the sweetest. Always smiling, super attentive without hovering, and somehow remembers my order almost every time. Little things like that just make the whole experience better, you know? She checks in just enough, makes sure everything’s perfect, and you can tell she actually cares, not just doing the job. It’s rare these days to find a spot that nails both the food and the vibe, but this place does it effortlessly. If you’re craving good sushi and genuinely good service, this is where...
Read moreBeen coming here for years. It was sad when the all you could eat left, but then they brought in a lot of good new things. Still was eating there multiple times a week, and still would be but now… the price creep is happening very aggressively. Taro milk tea used to be 3.50 its now 5.25 The spicy combo B went from 16.95 to 19.50, Halloween roll went from 14 to 16.95. To name a few. This has been happening over the course of maybe 6 months. It was at a price point for what they serve before, and now I cant justify going to my favorite place anymore. I dont see this creep slowing down either, so be wary of menu prices on the flyers they give out or online, they arent up to date and wont be for a while until they finally settle on a price. The food is good, but youll have to find sushi at that price of quality...
