A letdown is an under statement. We had high hopes for this place only to be let down by a place that was extremely busy for door dash and other to go services that it seems anyone dining in was forgotten. We sampled some appetizers and got the chicken and Mac for our main meals. We waited for over an hour for the app. Once we got that, we went 20 plus minutes with no drinks. After an hour and 45 minutes total, we got out main meals only to have my wife's be not what she orderd. We were told sorry it's messed up, and it's a shame. No offer to remake it was said. Even if it was, we didn't have another hour to wait. Once we were ready to leave, they did offer to remove her as she didn't eat it( she ordered to go from BWW at the table). Now my Mac and chicken were good but seemed like a large mess of semi melted cheese on penne noodles. The chicken and sauce were good and are more of a mix of a sweet heat/ Asian style sauce.
I was told this place has some of the best brunch around and that we should...
Read moreWhen the owner of the business was confronted by a customer about the misleading use of the name “crack sauce” the customer had politely and privately messaged the owner raising concerns because it seemed as a derogatory remark towards a specific group of people. The owner then decided to post the private messages to their Facebook and publicly outed the confused customer and let numerous people bully this person in retaliation to the customers remarks. The owner even liked or “loved” the rude comments made about the confused customer. This could have been done privately and is totally unprofessional to publicly shame someone for bringing up a concern to try and raise awareness. I will not be returning after the complete lack of professionalism from the owner. In our city we should hold our local business to the highest standards when it comes to letting the locals raise their voices and concerns instead of belittling them. Completely disgusted with...
Read moreWe liked trying this new to us brunch spot in Kingston! Definitely has a humble homey feeling in the space and the food gives heavy comfort (aka food coma) vibes as well. Service was lovely. We tried the wings to start and while I understand the hype in the crack sauce (yummmmm), we really disliked the Buffalo hot wings. The Buffalo sauce was thick and almost like a tomato sauce? It wasn’t our cup of tea personally but definitely heavy on the sauce which I always appreciate. I had a French toast flight with 4 flavors: strawberry shortcake, s’mores, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and pb+j. HUUUge portion size and super sweet/decadent but I think the only flavor profile that was super special/unique and not just topping placed on regular French toast was s’mores. My partner had the chicken and waffles which was good! His only complaint was wanting more chicken to...
