Got here by chance. Beautiful little two stories museum with amazing equipment to see. I was very impressed by the knowledge of the volunteer that showed us around. They have some really interesting vehicles on display. At the entrance, there’s a display with patches from firefighters from other places from their patch exchange program. They also have parades and events with silent auctions, raffles and free food and beverages.

My boyfriend is a volunteer fireman and belongs to the museum. We were up there for a muster. He did a Facebook live and interviewed several of the show men about their trucks.

Friendly staff, full of artifacts, pictures, history, antique fire fighting equipment and gear. A must see if visiting or passing by.

MUST STOP HERE if you're visiting the Kingston area. The museum has so much to offer and alot of interesting things to look at. Upstairs is definitely a must see too. Lots of gorgeous pieces and interesting history. We visited during covid and the flow of everything was great, open doors to the fire hall etc. But what really made this an excellent stop was the lovely woman running the museum that day. She was an absolute treat. She told us some interesting stories and facts, talked to us one on one about local events and places to check out and my favorite thing of all, she was amazing with all the little ones that were there visiting. She was very kind, energetic and really captured their attention which is so important for children in a museum. And to top it all off she was listening to a scanner (which made the experience feel that much more authentic) and told us she was once a first responder, now in health care and her husband is a first responder. So we want to thank her for her families service. What a wonderful little stop on our adventures...

I visited this fireman's hall and museum right after I visited the old Dutch church and before I went to Hoffman's I came up here on a Saturday but make sure you check the time's of when it's open because they close early but I must say one hundred percent well worth it. The fire trucks and pumpers on display date all the way back from the late 1800s to the 1930s and more with the volunteers being able to tell you all knowledge necessary about all the historic fire equipment that is housed here. Places like this are well worth it because it houses items that you just don't see every day but are so necessary for our future generations to understand so that way we can preserve a bright...
