I heard about Frank's from the residents I care for and so I decided to give them a try. I was at work, and like any person would, I expected the order to come with utensils, napkins, and a receipt. I gave the delivery man a tip and even called back to the restaurant to add to the tip. I get ready to jump in and eat, seeing I was hungry enough to eat a horse. I open the bag and there are no utensils or napkins. I call back to the restaurant and spoke to the young "uninterested" female who put another female staff member on the phone, who then put Victor on the phone. Victor tells me, "we don't give utensils with orders." But Victor did say they send utensils with orders for men working in construction sites. So if you are a woman placing an order from your job, you don't get utensils and napkins? Further, I beg the question, "am I then supposed to eat with my hands or feet?" I was shocked, having never ordered food without utensils! I told him, if I can't receive a receipt and utensils, then take the food back and refund my money, and I'd order from a restaurant that would freely give me utensils. He didn't want to do that so he said he'll send the driver. Three hours later, no receipt,no utensils. I tell them take your food, refund my money. Victor puts another staff on the phone, who was very sarcastic about the whole situation and then hangs up. I call back and (he) hangs up the phone again. At this point I am so done with Frank's, and I know I am not appreciated as a new customer. I worked until 11pm and they close at 10pm. Nobody thought anything about resolving my issue, a very simple resolvable issue. 1. Please don't send food without utensils, napkins, and a receipt. 2. Be quick to resolve a resolvable issue without adding insult to the situation. I am extremely disappointed, and seeing this is how Frank Trattoria Restaurant at 1085 W. Beech St., Long Beach, NY resolves matters with the public then why have customers? At this point it's not even the receipt, utensils, and napkins. It's the lack of customer service, the lack of respect, the discrimination between capacities, if you're a man at a construction site, you automatically get utensils?? I give Frank's a rating of 0. Save your money, order elsewhere for at least utensils, napkins,...
Read moreWe always order from this restaurant because we love their pizza and food. They always deliver it piping hot and always correctly. This time around we spent $86 plus a $20 tip And our food was delivered ice cold. I called the restaurant explaining that I was concerned that it’s been over an hour and our food had not been delivered yet. We were told that our food would be delivered by 615 and it was already 645. I am a nurse and I realize that sometimes things cannot be done on time but this was a little ridiculous. One of the workers assured me that our food would not be cold because that was one of my concerns and that it would be here momentarily. The driver who had been at our house before was literally parked two houses down …. i had to walk down to him…and our food was delivered ice cold as feared. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. The manager was very rude and told me “did I expect my food to be boiling hot?” That is not the response I expect from a restaurant that I just spent $86 dollars in. We are loyal customers and that is very disheartening that they don’t care enough about their customers to at least offer an apology. I will not be doing business with them again and I will be sure to tell others that they do not value their...
Read moreMade an order for delivery on the Slice app. Ordered 2 cheesesteaks with only meat and cheese, a soup, a Stromboli and 2 slices. They forgot the soup and also sent the two CHEESEsteaks with only ground up meat on a hero - there was no cheese on the cheesesteak!
When I called, the woman working acknowledged it was her error but said we would have to wait an hour for the food to be replaced. She then told me I would be better off just getting a credit and offered a credit for the cheese only. After arguing with them, the manager said they would only credit $10 and not the full price of cheesesteaks even though we certainly weren’t going to eat dry meat on a soggy hero with no cheese. They said they would send a soup right away but that has not happened. I paid $40 for a Stromboli for one that cost $7 and two slices of plain pizza. 3 people in our house had no dinner and they acknowledged it was their error.
