Speakeasy — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

We were staying nearby and stopped in for dinner - my wife and I and 2 of our children (15 and 7.) It was a Saturday evening, there were a number of other children there with their parents and it was only about 1/2 to 3/4 full at most throughout our time there. The food was below average and the service was horrendous.

My 7 year old got macaroni, which she barely ate, but said it was fine. The rest of us got different sandwiches and none of us thought they were good. My wife ate less than half of hers. I ate most of my Nashville chicken but it might have been the worst I've had, and I ordered Nashville Hot often. The chicken was so rubbery in spots, it couldn't bite through it.

Compounding all of that, service was almost non existent. We waited at least a half hour after ordering to recieve any food. When it arrived, only 2 of the 4 meals came out. 1 of the 2 that arrived, was wrong. We had to send that one back and it was another 10 minutes before the rest of the meals came out. When we eventually got all of our food, that was the last time we saw our server. When we all finished what we were going to eat, we waited over 15 minutes and no one came to clear, see if we needed anything or bring a bill. After about 15 minutes, I set a timer for 5 minutes. I said we would wait 5 more minutes and then it would be time to go. When I went to the bathroom during that time, my wife was finally able to see our waiter walk by and flag him to bring a check.

All told, we waited an incredibly long time, the food was not good, the service was missing and we would not recommend or come back. With so many options in the area, we were disappointed to have made the choice...

Called for delivery 2 hours ago. The restaurant was so loud that I had to scream on the phone just for the person taking the order to hear me. She kept getting all the information wrong and had to be corrected multiple times. Then when the order was finally done and the card information was given she didn’t read anything back to me to confirm it was correct. Well after an hour and a half of waiting I finally called and they said they had the card information wrong and tried calling 4 times. Well that was a lie because my phone didn’t ring once. Also, instead of bringing the food and getting the card information corrected, they decided to not bring me my food and now at 10pm I am starving and left with no other places open.

The cherry on top is that when I called to correct the order and get it re-delivered the person on the other end of the phone just hung up on me and when I tried calling back 10 times they sent me straight to voicemail. Absolute disgrace of an establishment and will be making sure people don’t bother wasting...

I visited this establishment for the first time with my family, this past Easter Sunday for brunch. We were very excited being that we just moved into this neighborhood.

I really don't give out bad reviews but I'm giving them two stars, for unprofessionalism.

And for two reasons, service and attire.

I fully understand a bartender wearing a sexy and revealing outfit. But my family and I sat at a table.

Our waitress (I believe from Ireland) had a see thru top on where I could see her black bra and exposed breasts. On top of this skin tight bottoms that rode up her...well..behind. She made myself and my wife very uncomfortable for our Easter brunch with our child. To make matters worse she took our order and never came back. I was forced to ask the food runner for another heineken , which I still never received. I was than forced to get up and hunt the waitress down for the bill. Where I found her goofing off with a co worker. (It wasn't even busy)
