Ralph's Famous Italian Ices & Ice Cream — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

Looks like a hoarder's bathroom. I should have gotten back in the car. My fault. I asked for a Chocolate Banana Shake with real banana. My fave. Strange that she asked if I wanted it with ice cream or ices, but OK. She dumped chocolate powder AND syrup on the soft serve. She then charged me $5.50, not for the average 16 oz. shake size, but for a 12 oz., the size of a medium coffee. I said "what size is that?" She said "that's the size we have for everything... Smoothies, shakes... That's the size." The blender had at least another serving left, so I asked, "well, what are you doing with the rest, throwing it out?" Instead of offering to give or even sell it to me, she said "nah, I'll probably give it to my co-workers." I paid you $5.50 for a small-sized soft serve shake!! You couldn't pour the rest into a spare cup for me, so I'd say "that was nice?" Guess not. Tell your co-workers I said "You're Welcome." I can go elsewhere. Last week, upstate, I paid over a dollar less for a 16oz, made with hard serve Perry's, we got a thank you and a free smile. No filth, bugs or rust, well-lit, happy... This place is an overpriced dump. Don't bother. Another place up the street served us melted Schrafft's ice cream 3 weeks ago, after throwing out the first cone, which she accidentally stuck in her hair! I don't know what's gone wrong in this part of town. Long Beach needs customers, so you'd think customer service would be...

Maybe one in five times they get my order right. Mostly they don’t even scoop me the right flavor. Just to be clear i always get half lemon, half cherry not very hard to mess up. Also i have a nut allergy and i ask them to wash the scooper to which i am told yes and then i watch as they take the scooper out of the same place and don’t wash it. Now they raised the prices and put it in a smaller container. So $5 for a medium tonight that was literally 2 scoops of (take a guess) the wrong flavor. I only go there because they are up the block but i would rather go to the other side of town...
