Hands down thee best eatery I have yet to find in Middletown New York . Walking in I could tell immediately how clean this place was. The food is displayed behind a glass sneeze guard in a buffet style layout. Every platter choice looked fresh and delicious. We chose the steak sandwich. Perfection. The meat was so fresh, it literally melted in our mouths.. The portion was huge. 3 of us shared it! Next we tried an arrow con pollo dish.. I really can't choose which one was better. Fresh soft rice. The chicken fell off the bone. Zero grease. Delicious. Again nice sized portion. Finally we tried the chicken empanada.. Now I personally make empanadas and they out did me big time!! The shell was so fresh and fried to perfection yet zero grease and crunchy yet still so soft.. Again perfection.. The dessert case also displays many cakes cheese cake possible flan if I'm correct. I chose the Oreo cheesecake with cookie crust. Omg perfect selection.. the freshness in everything was delightful. The service was fine. No waitress or waiter, you choose your plate and seat yourself. Even though the workers were very nice. I was asked if I needed anything else so they do keep their attention on their customers. For a high traffic place I must say the bathroom was so clean I felt like I was in someone's home. This was not a typical restaurant bathroom. I was very pleased and shocked even how clean the restroom was. It was almost as it was a new never used bathroom. Read moreI ordered through DoorDash they are extremely rude the DoorDash we told me to call the store through text message because they didn’t have any chicken soup or pina juice. I called he said no understand Mami....then I call dasher he’s saying they aren’t listening to him....tells me do I want to cancel my order.....I said it will not allow me to cancel my order due to saying your picking up the food cannot cancel due to restaurant...then dasher leaves says I said okay to cancel when all I did was tell him if he can ask them if it can go back to my debt card then he tells me you need to contact support I can’t help you you already told me to cancel? At that party I was confused they wanted to know if I understood Spanish which I don’t think that should really matter.....then I get another dasher with the same dasher number but then has me blocked? I call the store the guy keeps saying ahaha over the phone when I’m just a customer ordering off doordash not understanding what’s going on with my food if the store has it or if they don’t then after me just sitting on the phone trying to show a different dasher what’s going on seems to be ignoring me...then all of a sudden a dasher shows up with chicken soup and pina my order that they told me to call the store and that they didn’t have and wouldn’t let me cancel? Read moreMe and my family have been ordering food from here for years now. The food is delicious and I am honestly happy to have a place in my area that sells Spanish meals. They do not deliver, which isn't ideal when you don't have a car available. Prices are a bit steep, for example, a medium bean was $5 when you can get an entire can of beans at the store for $3 or less. They don't have a small order, only medium and large. One Medium order is $14. Some employees do not speak or speak very little English so sometimes it is hard to communicate and you end up pointing, which isn't too bad. I think the Atmosphere is good but the parking is the worst part, Nellys is right in the main road and parking is very limited. Overall my family and I love this restaurant, the only reason why I didn't put 5 stars is solely based on Parking and Price.
