Blend Smoothie and Salad Bar- Middletown — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

Placed a $75 pickup order online for multiple people. A friend picked it up and when it got to us we were missing a wrap. I went back myself to let them know we were missing an item and the woman asked a few questions and said she would make it now. While the wrap was being made she asked me what the rest of my order was like, so I told her and she proceeded to say that next time I order to place my normal order online and then call in the wrap.. I let her know I tried to call multiple times (hoping they’d make the wrap so I can pick up and go) and the phone never worked. Constant busy tone or “the voicemail has not yet been set up” … she offered that next time i came in she would get us a free sandwich or something, that’s fine… so I get back with the wrap and finally sit down to eat my salad … only to find out they forgot half of the things I added in to my salad. For paying this much money for an order and walking in and there’s not a single customer in the place… at least take the time to make an order correctly. I spent extra money and didn’t even get what I paid for. Used to eat here 2-3x week, haven’t in about a year until today; but now I won’t be coming back. Too expensive to not even get what you paid for....

I had to delete my last review which was 4 stars because I don’t know what’s going on with this place but something needs to change. It used to be so good and consistent. Not anymore. Walked in and an employee was at the front right by the register and looked straight at me and didn’t say a thing. Another employee behind her yelled “hello how are you” and then walked to the register to take my order. Then I watched as no one on the floor knew how to make my salad. They forgot my avocado, gave me the wrong dressing and gave me very little salad and then the lettuce/spinach I did have was very wilted. Mistakes happen and I understand that but this is all the time. You call and there’s someone taking orders that not only can’t speak english very good (I don’t mind that) but doesn’t understand it as well. Order juices and they add ice when you specifically ask them not to add ice or it tastes weird because the produce is wilting or almost bad or they haven’t cleaned the machines well and you have a bunch of pulp in your juice. I go a lot thinking that it’s been a bunch of off days but it’s like this all the time. I hate writing this review because I loved blend so much and keep trying to...

If you like waiting for over 35 minutes for the worst salad of your life then this is the spot for you! I entered the store about 30 minutes before closing and the employees had basically packed it in for the night, inappropriate music was playing throughout the store and an odor of marijuana was present. None of the employees were wearing uniforms so that was a bit of a turnoff as well. I ordered my two salads without issue. At the time of my order, only two customers were ahead of me, yet I waited for over 35 minutes for my two salads, a buffalo chicken salad and a custom salad with chicken and veggies. They apparently ran out of onions, which I discovered after 30 minutes of waiting. The employee was handcutting lettuce and celery for my salad, which is nice in theory but extremely poor for making a quick salad. The taste of the salad was very bland and severely lacked on amounts of ingredients requested including the dressings. This is now my second time patronizing this specific location, with the previous time also taking over a half an hour for just a salad and a wrap. I will not be eating here again to say the least....
