Pizza E Birra — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. My spouse and I went here with 4 of our friends but I wish we had went somewhere else. Upon entering we were not seated but instead the girl says "you can sit back there" as she points to the back outside table. Which is fine we wanted to be outside and away from everyone but we had to wait over 30mins for menus which is funny cause when the waitress came over she says "what drinks can I start you guys with?" I simple replied "can we have menus?". Finally, she gives us food menus, drink menus and takes our order. 45mins later we get our drinks after me going up to the waitress and asking what's taking so long. (Meanwhile inside only had 3 table and outside had 3 tables in a restaurant and had at least 25 table). Over a hour and a half later 4 orders come out which were burgers but the salad and pasta with shrimp doesnt come out till 15mins later. Now this was confusing for 2 reasons, 1 burgers should take longer and 2 who brings out some of the order instead of waiting for everything to come out at once. Finally I have my pasta that I was so excited to try since the pasta is "imported from Italy" but it was not good. When I went to the waitress to ask to speak with a manager she informed me no manager was there today and when she tried to contact the manager by phone the manager did not answer. This establishment is unprofessional, the food is not worth the wait. A manager should be on call to make sure things are running smoothly and address any concerns a guest may have. I will NEVER come back here and hope this review makes the owners seek new management because this experience turned a good day into a horrible evening. I was really excited to really try brunch here. We made a reservation for the Saint Patrick’s day brunch 7 days in advance. We arrived for our 1pm reservation promptly, and not a minute later. We stood around for 20 minutes waiting to be even acknowledged forget about seated. We stood adjacent to the bar and no one even said hi or sorry it will be a wait. I had to get someone’s attention and basically have her come from behind the bar to ask her what is going on with our reservation. We were told they are really busy and that we have to wait 5 more minutes. 5 minutes turned to 15 minutes. People who came after us were seated before us. And they got their own table. Same amount of people. We had to share a banquet style table with some people we didn’t know and they were loud and inappropriate. Our waitress was sweet I have to give her credit where it’s owed however she promised to keep the bottomless mimosas coming and sadly she didn’t get to fulfill her promise. We didn’t even get water until we were halfway done with our meals. I had one of the driest grilled cheeses of my life. They could stand to evaluate their cheese blend which I believe was just fontina but it wasn’t fully melted. Their pulled pork was dry not enough sauce through out. This establishment was really nice, was clean, a little under staffed. Has quite a bit of parking, nice choice of music playing in the background, not too loud but enough to conversation and still enjoy the music in between socializing and breaks in the conversation while eating. We went with a party of ten they had no issues with doing separate checks. Here's where being understaffed hurt the establishment,,, some of our dinners came out before our appetizers, I asked for Mayo for my burger and didn't get it until my burger was almost done, infact I didn't even need it by the time they brought it to me. I'm not going to fault our two waitresses cause it's not their fault they took care of us the best they could with the amount of patrons that were at the establishment when we went there. The appetizers were a little high priced for the amount they give, so go there planning to spend $30-$35 bucks or more per adult and that's not including any alcoholic beverage, just a soda or iced tea and not including a tip either.
