This would be my first review on any restaurant, and first and last time eating here. Beginning with the chips and salsa, the salsa disappointed me right away it had no flavor at all wasn’t spicy nor sweet it just didn’t taste like anything. It was no big deal at that moment but then I got my drink which was agua de horchata and same thing happened no flavor at all and not sweet either. We then got our appetizer which were nachos “deluxe”. Worst nachos ever. Again the flavors weren’t their, the only thing that had flavor was the guacamole on top at this point I was very nervous on how the actual meal would be like. When I received the molcajete it didn’t look to bad but when I tried it. NO FLAVOR. The meat wasn’t the best either it had like 3 slices of chicken and the rest was all chewy nerves of the chicken and other meats which I dislike. The salsa in it, FLAVORLESS. Definitely not worth the $26. Everything tasted like nothing worst feeling when you’re hungry. When we got our check I was stunned by how much all this had came out too. My total was $60 the only thing I wasn’t sure about the price was the nachos so I decided to ask the waitress how much where they she said 17.99. $18?! For a small amount of chips with canned beans sour cream, cheese and guacamole, mind you this is not a fancy restaurant theirs several of other small Mexican restaurants within 3 min away that I’ve tried and I’ve ordered the same thing and my total has never been this much. After I left the place I decided to search up the menu to see the prices and it turns out on their menu it shows nachos are $14.95. I also decided to read the reviews on this place and came across a couple saying this restaurant likes to overcharge their customers and now I can agree with that. Service and staff was good. Just terrible terrible food. This is coming from a Mexican so I am familiar with the foods and flavors. Don’t waste your money and time coming...
Read moreOriginally went for the fried fish but found out it wasb farm raised. While deciding to choose something order or leave, a beer bottle falls n breaks in the kitchen which we can see the workers were drinking. I tell the cashier taking orders that I can't have dairy no cheese because she suggested empanadas so I decided to get beans and rice. She said they don't do black beans, refried pinto beans...I was not positive about it but after speaking then I said ok...I get back to hotel only to find cheese is sprinkled all over my food, I couldn't eat it called back and the same girl who took the order had a nasty attitude " what do you want me to do about it?" So I asked to speak to manager who was worst. The guy was dismissive and said I couldn't get my $5 back they can give me a credit. I told him I'm not from around here but he suggested it for my next visit. I stressed that I was going to return it and wanted my money back. He said okay fine then hungs up the phone. Very rude terrible customer service and a friend who ordered said the food wasn't authentic,...
Read moreI ordered Barbacoa Tacos, Steak Tacos, and Birria Tacos while my girlfriend ordered the Shrimp Ceviche Tostados. My girlfriend loved her food. The tacos were all pretty good although some of the steak was a bit tough and under flavored and some of the cilantro was browned and withered. Aside from that I was happy with our food! (We also got the guacamole but it's pretty similar everywhere you go - this place could add a little spice to help the flavor profile).
The service was good although the food coming out (we ordered pickup via GrubHub) was slow. We had to wait an extra 10 or 15 minutes.
The atmosphere seemed great from what I could tell. Tables were full and there was energy. This was kind of hindered with the long line to the register to ask for my food.
Overall I'm a fan of their food and would suggest it to someone looking for...
