I'd go for 10 stars if it were possible with this stop! First morning of our trip we scouted for a nearby breakfast and this place popped up. Not many reviews, it's off the beaten path, but all were good and the photos of the food led us here. On our way over we knew something had gone wrong because all the traffic lights were out. When we reached the restaurant, the owner was at the door greeting customers and letting them know they were still serving, coffee was being brewed by hand, but the power was out. Definitely not a problem to us, the wide windows offered enough light to have a seat and comfortably see everything around us. Lemme just say that in the brief time we were their I've never experienced an owner going to the extents Mike did to ensure his guests were content and served well. He's friendly, kind, open, chatty and makes everyone so welcome you feel like a regular! Now to the actual food, it was perfection! No power in the place and these cooks were still sending out irresistible portions of delious breakfast! The waitresses were also handling the temporary dilemma with such ease, you didn't think anything was wrong. Their pricing is average but you can't beat the service! If your in Niagra Falls definitely...
Read moreWe were visiting Niagara Falls a costly adventure, so we were just trying to find a reasonable breakfast. We were going to settle for McDonald's. I am so happy we did not. First, we finally did not have to pay to park. I am so sorry, ladies. I have forgotten your names. They are the sweetest ladies, so helpful, and had time to chat with us. They gave us some fantastic ideas and information. On to the delicious breakfast. I had two over easy eggs, sausage, toast and hash browns, coffee, ..perfect. My wife had one blueberry pancake and sausage. My wife never has eaten all she orders. Hence, I am heavy. I can assure you that it was a fluffy, tasty, berry filled, delicious pancake. The restaurant is kinda hidden in a sort of strip mall situation. It may have cost a bit more than McDonald's, but the value is much better. We passed a man sitting in his vehicle. I said to my wife, " Let's give it a try." he said it can't be worse than McDonald's. He didn't know how right he was. I recommend you search out Marketside. Your efforts will...
Read moreI had an absolutely delightful breakfast experience at The Marketside in Niagara Falls, New York. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the meal.
The menu is extensive, offering a variety of options that cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. I decided to try their signature pancakes, and they did not disappoint! Fluffy, perfectly cooked, and topped with fresh fruit and real maple syrup, they were simply divine.
The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and efficient. My coffee cup was never empty, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.
The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained, with charming decor that adds to the overall experience. It's clear that the owners and staff take great pride in their establishment.
Whether you're a local or just visiting Niagara Falls, The Marketside is a must-visit for breakfast. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back on my next trip...
