Mr. Ventry's Pizza on the Boulevard — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. We are from out of town and this place was recommended by our hotel. We ordered a few items on our first night- pizza, tenders and two waters. Ordering was no problem and we were told the order would be here within 45 minutes. 1 hour later- still no food. We made a call to see if the driver was on his way and were told he was close. Waiting in the lobby for an additional 20 minutes our total was about $33 dollars and we gave him $40 CASH. Great tip considering you’re late and show up with attitude. We realized the waters were missing and mentioned it to the driver, who stated he would “be right back.” We took that to mean within what? 5 minutes? 10 minutes at the most since we are patient Chicagoans. 20 minutes later nothing. Of course we wanted to start eating and everything is cold- the pizza and the wings completely disgusting. We call the restaurant and we told them we are still waiting on the waters. The guy (who we later found out was some loser named Sean) told us our waters were “en route.” Fine. Let’s wait some more.....my husband went downstairs to continue waiting and I proceeded to keep calling the restaurant to get the guys name. He refused to give his name. I kept calling back demanding a name and some money back, even suggested half of our money back $20. He said “we aren’t giving you a dollar back.” I advised him that not only was our food cold, but we tipped very well and we’re still waiting for a portion of our order. The waters still hadn’t arrived. How can we have dinner with nothing to drink? I told him this was TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and he proceeded to refuse any sort of resolution besides “the driver is on his way.” We had to finally get the front desk lady of our hotel involved who made the recommendation. Upon calling him herself, Sean claimed he offered to give us our money back- what a pot of lies!!! He was extremely rude and apparently this location is known for terrible customer service. During a pandemic like this, we love to support local businesses but this wasn’t the service we were expecting. Not to mention, when someone asks for your name, you give it!! You don’t make the customer call 19 times while you ignore the call completely or refuse your name. Mind you, this was all after a long flight and at 1am (the order was placed at 11:15pm)

Update: delivery guy comes back wearing pants (he was originally in shorts when he dropped off the food) with a bag of two waters and our $40 back. Did he have any intention on coming back? When did he change? Did he go home and call it a night? Why did it take him an hour to bring us our waters? Needless to say the food went in the trash basket and the pizza looked soggy and burnt underneath. COMPLETE TRASH. We still have two days left on our trip and plan on visiting Sean in person to see if his ugly personality and customer service manners match his face. Note to the owner- during this pandemic a LOT of people are eager for work- replace these bozos and fix...

Wish I had a 10 Star rating scale. My friend brought me to Mr Ventrys on the Boulevard for lunch last week. We ordered Chicken Caesar Salad (Breaded Chicken Cutlets) meatballs, a slice of Italian Pizza & pasta. We shared it all. It was AMAZING! The food was PERFECT AND MOUTHWATERING DELICIOUS A-N-D the service, our waitress Colleen, whoaaaaaa boy! Just set the bar BACK for competitors to where it USED to be 10 years ago but faded most everywhere. I just HAD to take my husband there! So I went again with him a couple days ago. Again, we got Colleen 😁 and I ordered the exact same thing I did with my friend so my husband could try several dishes and he order a whole pizza too. My husband was SHOCKED and impressed, not only with how delicious the food was, the kind of impressed that he officially made Mr Ventrys OUR new & forever spot, but the service Colleen blessed us with sent him over he moon! SO much he made sure to seek out the owner to compliment with his whole dining experience. We seriously DONT want to eat anywhere else. After a stressful busy week and just to get out to have a dinner and an experience that has zero complaints, that is delicious, service that an A+++++, where all you're thinking about is good things, is such a breath of fresh air, I can not thankyou enough for setting your expectations so high. The respect, pride and pleasant work atmosphere gleems here and it shows! I actually tried to reconsider and not leave a review because I don't want to share this place. I want it my secret. But I just can't do that. Other businesses need to adopt Mr Ventrys business and customer service model and I hope this review is seen far and wide because I'm so proud of what Mr Ventrys all around model is - perfection at its finest! BEST in Western NY, Best in the state! Yes, I said it. Even better than those big fine dining restaurants, MR VENTRYS EXCEEDS them all, by FAR!! My mouth is watering as I think what I'll be ordering next week when we go. Yes. My husband said he wants to go weekly! THANKYOU!...

Went here last night for the very 1st time. My husband has been trying to find places we've never been before and he did a great job picking this place! I felt bad when we got there because Google says they close at midnight, but the sign on the door said 9. We walked in about 820 and the girls at the door said it was fine. Every employee we interacted with was just incredible. So nice and sweet. Every item we got was just incredible. I got a Caesar salad, and it just needed a little bit more dressing, but it was still amazing. We ordered the garlic loaf appetizer, order half without cheese, but the waitress realized it was wrong before she brought it out. She came out and apologized profusely and gave us a full 2nd loaf without cheese. Needless to say, we will have garlic bread for days, but my son, my husband and I all love garlic bread. The bread was toasted perfectly! I got a small BLT sub and asked for crispy bacon and they added fries on accident, but they didn't charge me for them. My husband got the chicken parmesan. My dinner was perfect! Exactly how I ordered it and so delicious! I didn't try my husband's, so it's just 2nd hand info, but every time we go out anywhere he complains about something being wrong, not tasting good, or being undercooked/overcooked. Neither of us had any complaints, everything was just perfect! For the portion sizes and the taste of everything and just the atmosphere, the prices were fantastic.
