One of the few holdout taverns from back in the glory days of Oliver Street when it was mentioned as having the most taverns per mile, I think back in the late 70's. Go there on a weekend night in the Summertime and you will see the sidewalk in front of the place just filled up with classic bikes! The tavern itself is pretty typical of most of the old NT taverns, but with a few modern updates that in now way detract from the asthetics and overall history of this great place. I asked for my money back upon experiencing that and was told that they wouldn't give me my refund. If you look like an upper class person u get treated first. Their loss not mine. The old bartender with pserable palsy made a seen in front of everyone. I'll never go there again and I'll still b happy. They seem to judge u by your looks. Even in times of price surging for dining out, wings were $10.50 and drinks started at $4.00. Friendly bar tender, and locals at the bar; someone even bought us a round of drinks. Will definitely be back for a laid back night out...
