Taco Bell — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

7/10/24 Update: Ended up stopping and trying again against our better judgement.... Haven't even opened our tacos yet.... But found this hair in our nacho fries that were ICE COLD, worse than last time. Honestly scared to open my taco now. This is disgusting! Apparently my original review has not reached management because hair nets! Edited again to add today's photos of my Cantina Crispy Chicken Tacos..... This is absolutely ridiculous!

This place would get zero stars if I could. When it first opened it was great. A spot my husband and I would hit once a week on our way home from work. But since then it's done nothing but go downhill fast. Today was the breaking point where we will drive out of our way to go to a different one. We went through the drive through which, was slow but whatever. We ordered a large nacho fry, two cantina chicken crispy tacos, a bean burrito, and a cheesy gordita. The fries were cold and mushy and we didn't get the avocado salsa, so we went in. There were three others ahead of us all complaining and one even stated "if I still had the general manager's phone number I'd be calling". At least two of the three girls working had long hair which was not in a hair net or up. One was walking around on her phone. When it was our turn, we got the sauce and "new" nacho fries which the employee promptly dumped upside down in a bag and handed it to us. Nothing but disdain for the customers they were serving could be felt, like we were a bother to them. The food.... Well let's say one of the avocado salsas was bad and smelled when I opened it. One of the cantina chicken crispy tacos had no chicken on it, you could see through the taco. Needless to say we won't be back. The unsanitary condition and lack of care from the employees, I don't want them making my food. Hopefully management sees this and can make it better...

Should get less than a star and I am not a picky customer and never complain this location needs to be shut down I expect more from Taco Bell and the current owner should foreclose their business. I am a minimum wage worker myself, they are always extremely rude and unprofessional when you come in to customers. Cashiers do not take orders and orders can only be made online or through their iPad. Do not attempt a “large order” here. Do not expect to receive all of your items because you will not. And not because they don’t have it but because they’re intentionally ripping you off or making menu items incorrectly/ do not care which is a red flag for a food place for me. I can tell some of this is the doing of management and whoever the boss is because I work in the same environment this is definitely a bad location do not order from here. For the past 6 years that I’ve lived here, nothing but bad. I do not reccomend and will no longer go here or order online.. on the rare occassions I do. Now I can only get mighty taco it looks like near me I do love Taco Bell when I travel I usually go to Taco Bell they have vegetarian options and good tasting food but at this location no you won’t receive your food they’ll take your money. I’m actually a tipper and never rude too I just feel as though this location needs to be shut down and with a new owner put up a sign that says “new owner” too when you do it. And new workers, keep the ones doing at least some work not their fault it’s really whoever owns this business. Very bad. Poor training, always empty because everyone in Amherst knows about how bad this location is and it’s strange because surrounding businesses...

So my wife and I wanted to try the cheese it items that just got added. Couldn't do mobile order for some reason said it didn't carry it , then pull up to drive thru I ask if they are doing the cheese it stuff and they gave me a rude a** "mmmhmmm" Ordered 2 crunch wraps And 2 Tostadas I asked to substitute ground beef for Potato's and it sounded like I broke there hearts when I asked that , I used to be a GM of 5guys and employees most of the time hated substitutions on food . They definitely did not like me wanting to substitute ground beef for potatoes, really felt like I crushed there spirt then pull up to the window and it looked like the whole team was extremelydepressed and looked like they didnt care. We get the food , smelt okay but when we opened the food , it looked like someone ran over my Tostada with a lawn mower and someone swan dived on my crunch wrap. Wish I took pictures tbh wouldn't of even fed it to a dog. We love taco bell always has slapped but maybe it's just this location but service was grumpy and seemed like they didnt want us there , and the food was god awful. May not ever go to taco bell again after...
