This location has been my daily stop for breakfast for over two years now. Each day- even on my non working days- I purchase a coffee and breakfast item. I've always felt the food quality, price, efficiency, and customer service makes this store, and Tim Hortons as a whole, the superior breakfast stop.
However, I feel there has been glitches in the process as of late. For example, two weeks ago I ordered a biscuit breakfast sandwich. Instead, I received an English muffin sandwich. Not a big deal... these things happen.
About a week later, I ordered the same item. Bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit breakfast sandwich. When the associate read my order back, she recited I "bacon sandwich on an English muffin?". No, on a biscuit. Thank you. But take a guess as to what I received.... a sandwich on an English muffin.
Again, this wouldn't be a huge deal. I really don't mind the occasional English muffin. But we specifically discussed it! Is this some sort of sick joke? Is "biscuit" interchangeable with "English muffin"? Is there a biscuit shortage, and rather than acknowledging it, you're just hoping we don't notice?
Minor issues. However, my experience today sank to new lows. Firstly, I understand it's Black Friday, and everyone is out and about. I expected it to be busier than usual, but the 27 minute wait in the drive-thru seemed excessive.
I ordered the usual- bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit sandwich (enunciating "biscuit" very clearly this time") and some other items. I pull up, pay, recieve the coffee... and was then told to pull ahead to wait so the egg can be ready- only about two minutes. Fine, I get it... even though this is more of a "McDonalds" move, I pull ahead and awkwardly wait.
7 minutes later (I think they thought I would just cut my losses and leave if I waited longer than 5 minutes), I received my order. Oh good, I'm sure the other items won't be ice-cold compared to the egg.
After I arrived at home, sure enough- piping hot breakfast sandwich (which feels like a biscuit, not an English muffin!) and a cold toasted bagel. But at least the sandwich is correct this time, right? Wrong. Sausage, egg, and cheese.
It was a good run with you, Tim Hortons. But, going forward, I think I'll be a frequent Starbucks...
Read moreThis is the Tim Hortons I frequent the most. And being 100% honest, this is one of the worst locations. My "easy order" - the one that I order every time I go is a bagel toasted with EXTRA cream cheese. And they ALWAYS charge me the extra .90 for the extra cream cheese, but do they put it on it? HA! NEVER! They get .90 out of me and get to keep the product they charged me for! I have since stopped going here. I have called can complained about this before and the manager apologized and insisted that I would get a gift card with the refunded money for the extra cream cheese (for that one visit only although I explained to him that this has happened upwards of 12+ times.) and I never go it! So pretty much he said that to pacify me! Not to mention, by the time they toast, cream cheese, wrap and bag the bagel, it is cold! The staff is not friendly and the prices are crazy. The other day in the mail (Saturday) I got coupons in the mail from Tim Hortons in that circular that always goes around so my mother and I went there yesterday (monday) to use some and they handed them back to me and said they were expired. Does someone want to explain to me why they are mailing out coupons and then 2 days later they are expired? Also, I don't understand why when things are a best seller they get rid of them! Case in point: Broccoli Cheese Soup and The Maple Cinnamon French Toast bagel! I am so frustrated with...
Read moreTypical Tim Hortons. Rude staff that can't take 2 seconds to get your order right. Probably the worst staff for making you not welcome and a bother.
I have yet to find a single Tim Hortons that has given me what I ordered or bothered to make it right. Or that even cared.
Getting a breakfast sandwich that is still frozen isn't very good.
Having to ask for help more than 3 times because the staff are all on their cell phones is not cool.
Having a server dump your drink over (and then making you feel bad as if to blame it on you) because they had their head turned chatting with another employee about what they were doing after work is way not cool.
Getting some random order because the counter person is talking with another employee about their personal business and isn't even listening to you is unacceptable.
Going in after dinner for a treat and seeing empty trays of product and enduring rolling eyes because you aren't ordering fast enough is frustrating.
Tim Hortons used to be great but somewhere along the line they just...
