Tammy's Kitchen — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

Terrible service. Would leave no stars if I could. No wonder why it was Sunday rush time and there were 2 tables in there...not one smile, nothing. If you don't like working in a restaurant...don't own one. Apparently only people Tammy knows get a smile and a nice attitude...if you're not a regular, don't go here unless you want to be talked about to the cook for the whole restaurant to hear. We ask for more coffee and water and you'd think we just stole her puppy...not to mention we NEVER got the water and had our glasses at the corner of the table for a half hour and asked for refills twice...what are they serving, fresh mountain water...pretty sure it's just nasty old tap water and a refill shouldn't be a big deal. Apparently she is kind to my parents as she knew my grandparents...wish I had that experience instead of loudly being talked about in the kitchen that she "can't believe we're asking for more water" hopefully they shut this place down...Worst breakfast experience ever and Tammy doesn't deserve to own a diner....miserable old lady. Wish that I was one of those secret diners who leave reviews because I would have that place closed in a heartbeat if it were up to me. Tammy...might be time to retire and find something in life that actually makes you smile....because clearly, it's not this. I hope this review saves some of you the trouble that we unfortunately had to go through by...

We’ve been going to Tammy’s for years now, the food and prices were always good. As for the service, Tammy has always been a little on the miserable side, but we are used to it and since we’ve been going there for years she’s been better with us. Well today we went there with a few family members. Boy oh boy, was she in a mood today. Everything she did and said was rude and nasty. My mother had tea, drank it and wanted a cup of coffee next, so Tammy yells across the room “you had tea first, now you want coffee!?!” In a very nasty tone. If we asked for anything, she got very irritated and stormed off to get it, half the time never coming back with it. After we were done she brought the check, my sister not knowing they didn’t take credit cards tried to pay for it (had I seen her I would’ve warned her), she handed Tammy her credit card and she said “we don’t take credit” with a nasty snarl and walked away in disgust. She then stormed back to the cook and was talking about us loudly to him. We will never go back, miserable I can take sometimes, but out right nasty I just can’t condone, I don’t care how reasonable the prices...

I’ve never been to a place that was more rude. The lady was absolutely miserable… you think they would appreciate the only customers coming in. Didn’t say two words to us didn’t bring menus and came up and said what are you having. Wouldn’t talk to my kid directly just said “does he want something” Asked for a menu and she says “no we don’t have any. That’s all we got “ and points to a small letterboard with a few things on it. Told her what we wanted and she didn’t say two more words until we were done and went up to counter to pay. Pulled out a card and she said we only take cash. We said no problem, she continues to go on “well it’s all over the door and the walls it says it everywhere” we never said again- ok no problem ……just so unbelievably rude thru and thru I was truly shocked. Idk how they are even...
