Delicious. My wife is a curator in the Hudson Valley MOCA gallery across the street and she found this little store by luck. It's a tiny place. Not much in terms of facility, but they have some great stuff. My wife brought home ravioli and it was stunningly delicious. She told me that they supply the restaurants. We now buy there all the time whenever we want something delectable that does not require much work and goes fast, but is still awesome. The ravioli is easy to heat and we just add marinara sauce. It is as good as the best restaurant food in the top Italian places here in the Hudson Valley. We also bought pasta and sauce, but mostly we keep several packages of the different types of ravioli on hand. If you compare this to the frozen ravioli in the supermarket, it would be like comparing Taco Bell to a real Mexican restaurant with a real Mexican chef. We have a pretty discerning palette, and trust me, this ravioli is unbeatabl e, unless perhaps you...
Read moreWe believe this is the best homemade pasta place we have ever found. Lived in Manhattan over 40 years and dined at so many restaurants in NYC, we never found pasta this good with all natural ingredients. For the quality, you may pay 30 dollars plus for a pasta dish at a decent restaurant, but you pay 7.5 to 12 dollars for 2 or 3 portions at Tuscana.
The marinara sauce is amazing. They use real tomatoes, basil, garlic, or other fresh herbs that you can actually see in the sauce. I also use the sauce for stuffed eggplants, meatballs, chicken parmesan, turkey meat sauce, and more.
The roasted red-pepper or burrata ravioli, linguine with squid ink, spinach or wild mushroom tortelloni (large tortellini) are our top favorites. We recommend anyone, especially those who love real homemade pasta without artificial additives or extra sugar to try Tuscana.
Thank you Mario for your amazing work. We will return to your...
Read moreThe Absolute Worst Tortellini I Have Ever Tasted
I rarely write negative reviews, but this pasta product tasted so bad that I feel compelled to post a critique. Recently, I bought tri-color tortellini from Tuscana Pasta Company. Me and my two kids could not eat more than a couple of bites of this tri-color tortellini and we threw our dinner in the garbage. I am not a picky eater. Over the years, I have even joked that it's hard to make "bad pizza" or "bad pasta". We did not over-cook this tortellini (only 6 minutes of boiling). I am certainly not looking for a refund (nor, an apology). Just stunned as to how such a rubbery, tasteless, pasta product could pass any type of serious quality control/taste inspection by...
