I can't believe how I was treated while coming into pick up a package I had sent to this location. Around 9pm at night really no one in the store. Me and my to little boys come in and the two cashier's behind counter were very rude. I say I'm here to pick up my package I say my name, the guy with beard said ok he leaves goes gets it. I'm standing at register still. He says very rude like COME over here. I had no problem with that except how he said it. But what gets me is when he handed the package to me he said "here"... Without saying anything else. So I take it and start to turn around to walk away, he says loudly and very sarcastic...no no wait you have to sign for it, other cashier is laughing very loudly !! and he also added ...you know that's like your stealing right? I looked at him like he lost his mind, I just stared at him. He could have said here's your package you still need to sign for it. But he never said a word indicating anything!! So I sign for it. Then he replies now you can take it and the other cashier's laughing at this time still! and I'm looking at her like do you wanna tell me what's funny here! She goes in the back and I ask him what's his name and hers. And he acted like he didn't know his own co-worker name. He did give a name. But I still think the sarcasm and rude demenor should change. Night crew needs improvement!!! And if anyone is wondering the female cashier's name he said was shanise. Situation could've been handled better by employees. The staff at the Peekskill Walgreens Pharmacy has always been very friendly and helpful (especially Chris, the manager). However, during the more than 7 YEARS that I have been going to this pharmacy, I am stunned that the online (and automated phone) systems for refilling prescriptions continues to be so problematic, year after year after year.
In addition, the wait times at the drive-through and on the phone (and, in-store) continue to get worse each year. Read moreToday I had a terrible experience there… I ordered some prints online and just stopped by to pick them up but I had to wait more than half an hour for a rude lady to arrive in no hurry, to make me spell my name five times and to let me know my order was not there. Well, my order actually was ready but she needed another employee to find it. On the top of that she was fighting with me and when she was showing her colleague my name she said the first couple letters and then “whatever”.
