I don't know if it was a bad day or the time of day,but, the waitress never came back to refill coffee and didn't seem too happy. The breakfast sandwich wasn't what I expected...you know bacon, egg, and cheese,I thought cheese should be melted,bacon too well done..it tasted like well left over pieces..ugh..definitely not what I was expecting. I will try it again..I've been there before and it was great. Probably, just bad timming as it was the end of the day...more towards closing time....maybe, I'm just too finicky, I like things done correctly, no matter what time it is...Smile, life goes on.and the coffee was good even if I didn't ...

I used to live in the area. I was here visiting and was alone one day. I remember Pete's Famous especially from my younger years. It brought back fond memories, so decided to stop in for lunch. I was very disappointed. Nice but just ok. Food was mediocre. Customers were entitled Rhinebeck where food must be gluten free and kids needing special menus for spaghetti with no sauce. So I am a PK native. But for whatever reason I've only eaten here twice. And honestly I like this place and I love the idea of a drive thru at a diner. And I love the idea that we can order anything from breakfast items to dinner. The first time I ate from here I ordered wings and spicy curly fries.
