Brickwood Grill — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Starting positive: The food is pretty good. They have drink options, although the beer selection is mediocre and on multiple occasions flat. But my review is mostly as a Gooner. I tried to go here because it’s supposed to be an Arsenal bar. Most often at Brickwood I see a group of people wearing Arsenal shirts outside trying to figure out where else to go, because Brickwood is definitely closed. They aren’t even open regularly during the hours on their website, let alone for soccer. Arsenal fans need to find a new place. Brickwood, please just post when you’re actually open, and this would a different review. I’ve called the day before when you were definitely open, to see if you’re going to be open. Prices are overall much higher than should be, especially for alcohol. The bartenders are usually good, but DO NOT expect to get high quality food. The cook Danny who works there thinks is okay to sell 3 month old food because " it's a bar not a restaurant this is what they want".... Eat there at your own risk. That kitchen has so much mold bc no one does change over on the pans and the kitchen staff is ignorantly bad. Besides the food, I'd totally go drink or party here, especially if Im in the mood for fruit...

Ordered a pitcher and a burger with fries. The beer was super sour and funky. I could only manage one sip. Ordered the burger "as rare as I can get it please" and got it well done. Bartender saw I didn't touch my pitcher and didn't ask what was wrong or offer me something else. A very disappointing visit. Gave em two stars instead of none because when I went a few months ago everything was amazing. Hope they go back to that, but it will be awhile before I visit again...
