I have come here quite often with a few different friends and I hsve almost always had a good time and experience. My only negitive experience to account for was new years when I brought an outside drink with me.
Now it's new years mind you, everyone is drinking amd sometimes you forget nit to bring outside stuff with you; like you just forgot you had it on you or in your hand. Everyone has had those moments where you are using the flashligh on your phone to search for you phone. Well the girl working at the bar pointed it out and mentioned how it could pe problem atic if her boss notices. I quickly slam the can and she throws it away. A little later I go to use the bathroom and my friend informs me that she had been talking negitivly about me with the other employees because of the can.
As someone who frequents there quite often and even introduces my friend to the place, I find this behavior to be unacceptable. I'm always polite, I never tip less than $10, I'm always patient with the staff bringing me my food and drinks.
This is however an isolated incident and the rest of my experiences have been positive. I have continued going regularly and will continue doing so.
Compared to your average watering hole, this place is altogether welcoming and I have yet to experience anything engitive while engaging with the other customers.
I love the food and the drinks are alright. Three massive TV screens always playing something different from eachother. There is pool table, Jenga and board games to choose from and plenty...

I stopped in to burn some time before catching the train back to Chicago. Being a Rochester native, i usually try to get a plate when I am in town. My plan was to have a couple beers, grab a plate, and head back. Marshall Street has plates on their menu, so I gave it a try. That was a mistake.
I asked the bartender (who was awesome) about their plates and what the deal was with the queso. He explained that it was made in-house and was really good. That is true, the queso was good, but it didn't fit right on a garbage plate. I ordered one dog, one burger, fries and mac with everything. The hot dog was not good, the burger was small, the fries were waffle style... and the overall portion was tiny for the price. They put it in a little basket and dump queso. It was more like cheese fries with a mini burger.
Great service, good beer specials, but over-priced...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places! The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is great and they have tons of board games! Other games include darts, pinball, the claw and a huge Connect Four. If you're not into those kinds of games you can watch football or The Walking Dead on the huge screen in the dining area. It includes three projectors. The menu is extensive and includes an array of apps, sandwiches and other noshes. They have taters! My favorite sandwich is the deep-fried turkey club. Get a side of queso and you're golden! The long bar is stocked with at least 10-15 beers on tap and all kinds of craft brews. Samples are encouraged. The dining area is large enough to party with a group of friends, yet cozy enough to enjoy quality time with your BFF. Marshall St. is awesome and you will...
