Second time coming back here. LOVE the Coconut Curry Chicken bowl. Literally enough for two people's full meal, though we supplemented with crab rangoons (above average) and pork fried spring rolls (good). We had tried the pork belly steamed buns last time and didn't particularly care for it. A friend ordered off the Chinese menu and got General Tso's Chicken, which can be made spicier, with fried rice included. He said it was above average and the chicken was nice and tender, not overly bready as had at other Chinese restaurants. The serving size was huge! Thai iced tea is a bit on the sweet side the previous home, but delicious, nonetheless. And we got it with the bubbles this time, but the Thai iced tea tasted better last time. Today it seemed as if the tea were steeped too long, and they make it with condensed milk instead of half and half as I've had at other restaurants, but adding extra condensed milk made me like this more. Employees are kind and helpful. Service was faster the last time we were here, when the restaurant was more crowded. It's a clean and quiet place. Though they do have their own parking lot, it can be tough to get good parking because the lot is small and is in an L-shape around the restaurant. Highly recommend it for an easy lunch or dinner for reasonable prices.

Read the reviews flavors of Asia. Your place has changed and if you want to stay open, many things need to change. I can't even believe how bad this place was. It used to be my favorite Asian restaurant. I've eaten here many times before. Now, I'm just grossed out. There was a lid inside one of my sauces like it was dropped in The spring rolls were an absolute mess. They wrap them in the cellophane which is obviously going to stick to rice paper! So I called and the kid who answered the phone obviously didn't want to be there. I asked about it and he told me he was sick!!!! You have someone who is sick working? Good god! Oh, those 4 little pieces are the crab Rangoon. That's just pathetic . The kid told me there is nothing they can do and that's how they have to wrap the fresh spring rolls. I mean I feel like you can put them in one of their boxes or containers that the noodles and such come in. I couldn't eat then because the cellophane was stuck to the rice paper so you can't differentiate between the cellophane and the rice paper and it's just one big mess. I previously gave them 5 stars but this was so bad that they earned a 1 star.

Ordered takeout late on a Sunday... I know you guys want to go home but yikes. I got a strawberry smoothie that was a tasteless red slushie. And fried rice that was a little less than what I was hoping. I give two stars because I feel bad ordering so late, even though they may have made the food without care. The smoothie almost pushes it down to 1 star. I think they probably have good stuff, but I would not get a smoothie or fried rice. Or maybe just don't order too late.

Okay, here we go: We were excited to see our neighborhood asian restaurant finally (re)open for dine-in service and figured the lack of customers seen inside was because of slow word of mouth. It probably is because it has gone down hill yet again. First owners were the best; all successors have diminished that successfulness. It was short-staffed, especially since take-away orders were (still?) brisk, so be prepared.

Venue: Employees should be aware of the customer environment. A chilly Labor Day Sunday should not have a fan sucking cool air into the dining area. Add more lighting, or at least turn on all the available lighting. (We saw one table using their phone flashlights to see.)

Staff: Two on the front end for the entire place, with no cross training (and online orders still coming in), tests the patience of all dine-in customers. Waitress was friendly but seemed new to being a server. Many: flubs, wasted trips, and over-promising each order arrival time to every table. (Please buy new supportive shoes/sneakers.) Counter dude seemed okay but kept running out and in of the restaurant (why, for change, smokes, a tattoo?) and needs to realize customers can hear everything he says as well as that incessant online order chiming. He should help seat, take care of cheques, and clear/clean tables when not busy ... and leave food to the server.

Food: Fried eggplant app was nearly a dollar per piece for five, small pieces! They're still using the same dishes, so, when we're accustomed to a mound of food, half that at now double the original price is shocking. Gaeng phao came out a dry panang. Only plus was the server brought a side of the correct sauce (but I got one hell of an MSG headache afterward).

Management: Please remove the "fried" option to the side of rice for main entrees. We know it's a great way to get rid of old rice, but the regular fried rice entrees can take care of that and there's been too much confusion for too long over old rice, slight colored, with absolutely nothing else in it. It'll save the server 4 minutes at each table explaining it and another 3 minutes apologizing to every person getting it. Speaking of saving time, servers should not automatically make a special trip to bring extra plates to every table; unnecessary ... and the dish washer will thank you. Servers should instead spend a moment to ask if customers want the pho side dish of basil, bean sprouts, limes, etc. (We saw several customers not even touch theirs; what food-waste!) Lastly, website states a South Wedge location; your business is in the Highland Park neighborhood.

Summary: We'd like to have the old FoA back in our hood, but the current iteration is currently just okay for take-away. They may be trying ... but must do a lot better, so think twice before...

Placed an order through this restaurants online ordering page, probably the only good thing about my experience with this place. I live on the eastside of Rochester, so it was going to be a bit of drive to grab this food. We ordered a good amount of food, probably $60.00 or so. Picked up my order no issues, lady was very friendly. Upon trying to leave the parking lot a man blocked me in with his car and confronted me at my window...demanding money. I very nearly came to blows with this man because he would not allow me to pull my car out. I realize this isn't the restaurants fault but it does factor into my overall experience. Eventually he grasped that I wasn't going to give him money or follow him to gas station to put gas in his car so he pulled away. I finally get home with my food, my kids are screaming bc they are starving and I'm later than I thought I'd be...and my wife informs me that we're missing food. An entire entree was missing, the other entree was prepared with meat when I requested it vegetarian. Everything was ice cold (like it has been prepared hours before I picked it up) and the food was just not good. I emailed using the email address providing on their website the following morning...no reply. I called later in the week to follow-up and a young girl offered me a store credit for an order right than there or for a future order. I advised that I did not plan to re-order and would prefer a credit back to my credit card. She could not do this for me right than and there...but said that she would give this information to the owner "to see if' a credit could be issued. A few days have passed and I've not received a credit to my card nor a follow-up call from 'the owner'. Shame bc it seems to get good reviews...if this is how they operate day to day than I don't know how they've received the reviews that they have.

To say that I'm disappointed would be understatement. If the owner reads this please contact me via this email, I was OK at the time to just receive a credit for the entrees (about $20) but now given all this I'd like a full...
