This place is amazing 😍. It has everything you need or could really want in a book cafe.

The food is delicious and the drinks were phenomenal. I absolutely loved the London Fog Bubble Tea and the Lemonade I got. The classic breakfast sandwich with chorizo had just the right amount of heat and was the perfect thing for the start of the day.

The book selection was kind of small but they definitely make up for that fact with the weekly book orders they offer. I especially liked the second hand book selection since it seemed like all the books were in good condition and offered a sustainable option.

While the inside is a bit weathered from age it is well-maintained and it gives the store a homie atmosphere, which is perfect for a book cafe. They also have a garden outside with seating area which is really nice during the warmer season.

Overall I really enjoyed my visit and can not wait till...

An unassuming store front should not deter you from this charming bookstore and cafe. The staff are certainly not over-friendly and perky as other reviews have noted, but they aren't rude either. I found them very attentive and timely, even delivering my sandwich to me as I walked about upstairs looking through their admittedly limited selection of books. Still, Bookeater offers a surprising amount of diversity in genre for the amount of product they currently carry, and its obvious they have room to expand and grow. Also obvious is the fact that this place has clearly become a staple among the community already. I stopped by early on a Saturday morning and was surprised to see so many patrons already seated, talking and enjoying their meals. I thoroughly enjoyed my iced vanilla latte and classic breakfast sandwich (try the bees sting if you like spice!). I will certainly be...

This. Place. RULES.

Adorable book shop with new and titles in every genre imaginable? Check.

Cute cafe with tasty coffee and tea drinks and some of the best (and best value) breakfast sammys in Rochester? Check. (Seriously, where else are you getting a local sausage patty egg sandwich on a home made bun for $8?)

Cool, laid back atmosphere with helpful, friendly service and tables surrounded by shelves full of books? Check.

The fact that Bookeater doesn’t have a line out the door all dang day is incomprehensible to me. Definitely don’t...

A wonderful little bookshop and cafe! The staff is friendly and personable. The seating is varied and allows for access for disability seating. It's clean, bright, and colorful. The food and drinks are delicious (we loved the Strawberry Lemonade and London Fog Boba especially)! And while the book selection isn't huge, there are lots of interesting options and room to grow! I can't wait to see how they'll expand and continue to grow! Definitely recommend as a quiet place to find a new favorite book, read, snack, and just relax.
