Updating my review as a delivery driver. A while back I gave Han Noodle Bar a 5 star review without explaining why because I was in a hurry but I was impressed as a delivery driver with the customer service and how quick and efficient orders are put out and figured I'd remember to come back later and leave a review. So here it is: I have picked up deliveries multiple times since my original review from Han Noodle Bar and each time the service has been exceptional. The employees who work the POS system and hand out the take out bags are always polite and prompt with handing out the order, if the order is not ready upon arrival (which has only happened twice out of more than 25 deliveries picked up) the employees assure me that the order will be ready soon and they'll let me know when it comes out. I have never waited for those not-yet-ready orders for more than two minutes. I can see the communication between the employees is much better than most places and everyone seems to be friendly towards each other but not TOO friendly, they keep it very professional. This place is ALWAYS busy so to see that the employees are friendly and professional towards each other despite working nonstop on orders shows me that these people enjoy their job. People who enjoy their job always seem to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service which is why I think that Han Noodle Bar runs so efficiently. I have not had the food here but it always smells SO GOOD!!! My only complaint is that the public area of the restaurant is a bit cramped with how busy it is all of the time perhaps in the future Han Noodle Bar can find a way to change the layout to accommodate more space for people to wait for their orders. Overall, I am very impressed with the customer service, order output and efficiency of this restaurant, especially when compared to how delivery drivers are usually treated at other neighboring establishments. I will be ordering from Han Noodle Bar in the future and will update my review from that...

The food was most enjoyable, AND the service was outstanding in every possible regard. Our server was Lauren and she would garner my vote among the top 5% of all servers in my lengthy dining history, ranging from the modest Mom and Pop eatery to the Michelin star experience. Her performance was summa cum laude. 1. She absolutely took ownership of our experience without any trace of intrusiveness. 2. She recognized that one of our number had a hearing issue and without being asked (and without fanfare as in "look what I'm doing"), quietly went to his side and knelt to his seated height in order to explain the menu features and some of the other highlights. 3. When one of our party was having trouble choosing from among the myriad dishes, she inquired about his tastes and based upon his description ("I enjoy noodles, pork, vegetables, brown sauce, etc.) offered her recommendation which was perfectly suited to his preferences. 4. One of our party has sensitivity to soy based products; Lauren assisted her in choosing a white sauce adapted to her spice level preference. 5. Each individual received her undivided attention and her listening skills were manifest. She was as personable and as professional as could be, clearly was passionate about being in an "in-service" industry, and executed flawlessly. She has leadership qualities and I have little doubt that she is appreciated by ownership. Based upon results I would assert that they have established a culture in which someone like Lauren is encouraged to empower herself, all which inures to the restaurant's fine standing. All of us without exception thoroughly enjoyed our evenings' celebration. Recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls, the hot and sour soup, vegetable dumplings, seasonal greens, pretty much all the noodle dishes. All in all, a first...
Read moreThe best Chinese restaurant in Rochester, I haven't found a single one that's better. This is my go to place whenever I want to go to a great and cheap restaurants with friends. I've been there like seven times already. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
The first time I went there was around a year ago, it was a cold morning in Rochester. My friends and I arrived there before opening, we were waiting outside in the cold. Then suddenly the door open and the owner greets us and invites us to wait inside. The food was amazing!
This other time we were waiting to be seated and my friends and I were taking some pictures with the decoration. A friendly old lady, and owner of a nearby bookstore, talked with us about the restaurant, turns out she goes there for lunch very often. She told us how the owner only buys natural ingredients and prepares the food from scratch. If it comes in a can he won't use it for the food.
Ever since that day I enjoy taking friends there that haven't tried out the food yet. We always try to eat something new and we are without a doubt never disappointed. I recommend getting the chicken lo mein and the orange chicken, those are some solid good dishes. You can tell the quality the orange chicken as you'll find orange peel in there to give it that extra flavor.
Another great thing to eat are the pork belly buns!! They come as a set of two, perfect to share with someone! They are delicious and a great appetizer!!
The ambiance is also really nice. If you seat on the bar you can appreciate how the cooks prepare the food. If you seat near the windows you'll have a good source of light around you. If you seat near the back you'll have a great time to talk with your buddies while appreciating the nice painting in the back.
If you were thinking of giving this place a try you should!!
10/10 would go...
