An absolutely beautiful boutique! I saw a lattice work cape at MansaWear and I asked Nita (the designer & owner) if she could make something similar in a scarf/shawl. We talked about dimensions and what I'd like the scarf to look like- and I am blown away by the finished result. The colorful fabrics and unique designs make all of MansaWear's clothing feel special and I get a sense of joy when wearing this scarf. How can you not be excited to own a piece of beautiful artwork that you can wear? I went back to buy my daughter a purse (her second MansaWear purse!) and as always, Nita was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As an artist myself, it means a lot to me to be able to talk about the design process and the origin of the gorgeous fabrics that are used to make the clothes and purses. I definitely recommend this shop...

Nita was incredibly welcoming and her personality was as vibrant as the colors and patters in her own shop! This was a great shopping experience. I stumbled upon her little store front during Park Ave Festival where I spent a good half an hour trying on her unique patterns and custom dresses. She designs all of her pieces and they are manufactured in Ghana.

If you like unique, colorful, and patterned textiles you should definitely come check out her store because she will take your measurements on the spot and you can chose whichever material and style you want!

She carried, dresses, skirts, shirts and smaller accessories for women and she had a pretty good sized inventory for men too. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to come back and try...

This was just a magical experience: I'd fallen in love with a particular fabric that had been featured in an email blast, so went to the store... and got to decide everything: what sort of garment, how to execute it - everything. I've never had anything custom made and it just felt so Special! Like Queen for a Day, ha! Turn-around time was exactly as promised, and the finished product was even better than I'd envisioned. Cutest darn bicycle skirt on the planet! :) WITH POCKETS! (eee! skirts with pockets are The Best!) Nita is a delight to work with; so nice, so professional, and so responsive.
