This was my first time visiting E Suki. It was a great experience. The food portions are actually a lot bigger than I thought they would be.

I was a little sad that the peach jelly sake wasn't available after I had ordered it, but the berry one was still quite good. The snow cheese chicken was delicious, but some of them had a little too much cheese seasoning on them. But I would definitely get it again.

The pepper steak teppanyaki bowl was fantastic and I will definitely get it again, or get the one with the chicken filet. This dish came out sizzling and the steak was cooked perfectly.

The restaurant was clean, and nicely decorated but still minimal in a good way. The employee who helped me was kind and answered any questions I had.

I will definitely be back, especially now that I have moved back to this...

So obviously this is not a sushi restaurant. We have our go to sushi place but we’ve been looking for somewhere that did good rolls since our usual place is more traditional. So we tried this place for the first time and we were excited by all the positive reviews. Unfortunately besides the E Suki roll, everything else we ordered was disappointing. The unagi sushi was not fresh, the dragon roll barely had unagi, the fried chicken although tasty had very thin slices of actual meat & is mostly breading, the salmon inari boat was ok, the scallop shumai was ruined by yuzu, and the garden roll had a weird sweet sauce drenching it. Although the service was good, the vibe of the place was not great. Unlikely that we...

SOOOOO GOOD!! ive already been like four times but i keep forgetting to take pics.. 😭 this is a casual dine-in place like crave and taichi, where u put in ur order at the front and then take a number and find a place to sit (they bring the food out to u!!) the teppanyaki rice bowls are actually so fun! they come out on like these iron plates, and when you pour the sauce it SIZZLES. ive tried the black pepper and the spicy cumin, and both are amazing. it comes with a fried egg, and a decent amount of veg underneath all that chicken 👍 my friend got the spicy tofu soup, and she said it was as good as some of the stews shes had in nyc so i NEED to try that next time… already planning my...
