We stopped in for lunch, realized that the name and owners had changed(new name Tran Huy Garden) but decided to stay. We were given the dinner menu right away. The prices are much higher than the Taste of China, when we asked if there was a lunch menu, the answer was no. She brought us tea and fried noodles while we looked over the menu. We told them we changed our mind and would pay for the tea, $3 was the charge (left $4). She came back with a lunch menu and tried to get us to stay, the time that the lunch menu ended was 30 minutes after we arrived! At that that point we felt deceived, she should have given us the lunch menu when we first arrived. I may get takeout from the lunch menu in the future, but if a business makes those kind of decisions out front to make more money, I wonder what they do in the kitchen...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if i could. I asked for a sesame chicken combo and asked for extra rice versus the eggroll. Got the same container full of rice and xhixken, no extra rice. Called them and they said "oh we put extra rice in container". So either they shorted me chicken or just didnt give me the extra rice. Ill do business elsewhere. Liars.
Update: Only 2 pieces of broccoli stuffed under the chicken. Pork fried rice was flavorless and the container was 2/3's rice... DEFINATLEY was shorted chicken to make room for my extra rice... Wish i used my credit card as i would call and contest the charges. Absolute waste of money and im now needing to buy another...

There is a Chinese restaurant on Mt Hope that comes up when you click the link for this restaurant's website. I say this because the pictures in the negative reviews are NOT from the Tran Huy on E Ridge Rd in Irondequoit. I eat there every week and they never mix rice in with the entrees and the amount of food in one entree feeds me for several meals. This is a family run place and the father makes all the dishes fresh. Rice comes in large containers separate from the entree and you can order brown or white,...
