Great Wall Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

I’ve had plenty of Chinese takeout but this one was not up to par for what they charge. Crab rangoons are almost nothing but air - More like a fried wonton with minimal filling. Broccoli beef has tiny pieces of beef that taste like the lowest quality meat…mushy and unappetizing. Chicken fingers are soggy & chewy, and much smaller than pictured. Grease sitting at the bottom of the tray. I believe it may need to be changed out more often.

Teriyaki beef sticks were good but very slim, so not much value. No complaints about the spare ribs & egg rolls. The steamed dumplings are really good and the pork fried rice was better than a lot of local places, so I am willing to try it again in the future to see if anything changes (Could just...

This place was “great” up until their cleanliness had gone from a 10 to non existent. My daughter luckily found a tiny little bug inside her rice before eating. Once I called and told the restaurant what I had found.... the lady told me “no”. “There’s no bug in your food”. “Like, lady how are you going to tell me no”. She did ask me if I wanted another order. But at that point I just wanted my funds back. I had already lost my appetite. I’m beyond disappointed. I only do reviews when it’s needed and trust me in this case. I find it to be more then appropriate to address.

I wanted to try a new Chinese takeout. I put in an online order and thought wow there a little more expensive than my usual but heard it was good so didn't mind paying a little extra. My online order said 30 minutes I got there waited another 25 minutes. Got home no sweet and sour sauce for sweet and sour chicken, boneless ribs were extremely burnt and the lomein was mush way over cooked. The pork fried rice was mush as well. My son had fried wonton and did say the sauce was the best he ever had. Maybe they were having an off night but for the time , price and quality didn't leave much...
