They do their best. Service is super slow but extremely polite. Iāll take professional behavior over efficiency. Thatās fine.
Two minor problems that occur repeatedly:
1- They put the food upside down in the bags then dump a giant handful of napkins on top.
For example: your sandwich will be loose at the bottom of the bag, then the wrapping atop it like a random leaf fallen from a tree, and then the upper two-thirds of the bag will be full of napkins.
This means if you get a donut and a savory item, you get two separate bags full of napkins covered in icing/grease/powdered sugar/melted cheese/etc. It would be much more convenient if the food were placed in the bags right side up so that the wrapping were under and around the food item. This way the food is not loose in the bottom of the bag and the food is covered so it stays together. As well, two or three napkins is plenty. It might even save some money if every customer wasnāt give massive handfuls of greasy napkins to unpack.
2- The atmosphere of the dining areas is rather hostile. There are many computer printouts in all capital letters that announce extremely specific things that are forbidden. Not corporate decor. These announcements are homemade angry printouts taped everywhere. Thereās no place to sit that does not have a harsh vibe shouting from a printout.
It would be very nice if the signs were replaced with polite, non-threatening, mellow signs typed in normal writing style. Such as āPlease be aware _. Thank you.ā Just capitalize the first letter of the sentence and use polite conversational tone. As well, maybe prune the signs down to two or three really really important comments, rather than every pet peeve taped to every surface.
Nobody wants to be inundated with angry, all-caps hostility first thing in the morning. A welcoming, calm vibe would be so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really donāt like leaving bad reviews, but this Dunkinā Donuts location has been disappointing every time Iāve visited. First of all, the drinks are just terrible. Iāve tried the iced coffee, hot coffee, and even their specialty drinks like the caramel swirl or the cold brew, and none of them taste right. Sometimes theyāre way too sweet, other times theyāre watered down, or just taste like old coffee. It feels like no one is following the recipe or checking if itās actually good before handing it to you.
But what makes it worse is the staff. Almost every single time I go in, the workers look like theyāre mad or annoyed. They donāt greet you, they donāt smile, and they act like youāre bothering them just by ordering something. I understand that working in food service can be hard and stressful, but itās the same cold, rude attitude every day. It makes the whole experience uncomfortable and unpleasant.
Thereās no energy in the place. No good music, no friendly serviceājust bad drinks and bad vibes. Iāve tried to give them multiple chances, thinking maybe they were just having a rough day, but itās always the same. Iād rather go somewhere else and pay a little more just to get decent coffee and respectful service. Dunkinā needs to do better, especially with customer service. I wonāt be going back to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe people at the store are very rude. They have stuck up attitudes and feel like what they say out their mouth is acceptable to customers and as well as their other associates on their team it is very unprofessional to conduct yourself in that manner for an example. Lissa has a nasty attitude and when she frustrates herself, she takes it out on the remainder of the team. Dianeās mouth is disgusting. She should not be in a position of management yet and still sheās been there for going on 10 years and no one puts their foot down when it comes down to the disrespectful tone. An attitude that she portrays to everyone Jess has a nasty attitude when she has to do other peopleās job responsibilities. Itās not fair to the new workers to put up with such disrespectful attitudes. I see them every single day and they donāt even know who I am nor that I am bothered or disgusted with some of their behavior because I conduct myself in a professional manner when Iām in a place of business, The favoritism at the store shows, especially when you hire your best friends and make them a manager or put them in a position of leadership. It is a very bias environment and if it wasnāt for it being the closest most convenient Dunkin I would not ever return. The rest of the staff is...
