UPDATE: July 14, 2020...and history repeats itself...so here we are at The Preserve once again...Doug and Tammy greeted us like if it was only yesterday we have last seen each other! The food was simply PERFECT! The fusion of the flavors and condiments, the food presentation, and the perfect atmosphere makes eating at The Preserve a one of a kind experience! It is so hard to decide what's their best dish on the menu. Today, our server was Amber! She was phenomenal! We ordered a few beers, a Tuscan Pizza (blend of garlic, chicken, pesto, and more) and a Lobster Roll and to top it all, we ordered their house dessert, a salty chocolate caramel cake. WOW! You can't ever go wrong! Each single meal is a piece of art! Speaking about art! The Preserve walls are full of it! Once more, Jacqueline Colello @colellocreations surprises me with her creations fill with colors, passion, and beauty! Can't emphasize enough: come to The Preserve, I guarantee you, you will be back ...! Simply MAGNIFICENT! My husband and I visited Le Preserve. Its ambiance is retro and trendy, yet inviting to the old school rock & roller due to the 70s classic rock music. The walls are dressed with a local artist's paintings that are for sale if desired! The food was amazing! Each dish was perfect! The combination of different flavors made each meal a work of art! We had a unique selection of dishes to chose from. I can assure you that you will be treated like if you were family. We were greeted by the owners, Doug and his lovely wife! They are wonderful! So friendly! Additionally, you must ask for Kim. She was our server. Never met a server that was spot on! Believe me when I tell you that everything she recommended was delicious! We had a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back! Oh! The selection of the house specialty cocktails was out of this world! Can't wait to visit Le Preserve again!

I just don't get the hype about this place. Went in, had reservations, they tried to call back and cancel them saying they were to fill, but when we actually sat there were a lot of open tables. Sat at the bar, that was fine. But the dinning was such an experience. We got a waitress that I don't know, had something against one of us, or maybe it was that we brought a disabled kid in. I actually don't know but it sucked. Sat us, waited 40min to give us water and take our order. I had to ask for my water to be refilled, my cousin has to ask for her drink 3 times. The waitress did not tell us the specials, we had to ask about the soup of the day, she was irritated that we asked what dressing for salad they had. The food came out in two runs, maybe 10min between, she put a piping hot plate of chicken fingers in front of a child and didn't warn anyone at how hot the plate was. We had to ask for to go containers twice, and then she didn't bring enough. The food was just ok. Nothing special. And for the high price I would say a disappointment. The dining area was so loud, they could really use foam under their tables. Oh and the bathroom stall doors were gross! I will not be going back. It's to expensive for the experience.

Guys. I don’t normally write reviews because, like ugh I don’t have time. But this place is worth the hype. I got the yuzu drink and it tasted like lemonade but I’m pretty hammered right now so there was a lot more than lemon aid goin on with it. We also got the nachos with steak and let’s begin with that: the chips were crispy and flavorful, the cheese was layered with flavors, like I can’t even describe it, the JALEPENOS!! Idk if they make their own but they were pickled but not soft, crisp with a lovely tang and heat. The STEAK, was so good I was picking it out just to taste it. Even the tomatoes had this lovely seasoned-ness. Amazing. Then I got the corn beef sliders with SWEET POTATO FRIES. I can’t. The fries might be one of the top ones things I ever put in my mouth. 😉 😝 They ate crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and they come with maple butter OMG. The sliders were hot and tender, not at all dry, and the buns were perfectly soft. The serving staff was friendly and professional. The only thing I will say is that as a short girlie the chairs are not great. Too tall and narrow so you can’t touch the floor or curl up comfortably. But have a couple yuzus and you won’t care! Eat here. Just do it.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch this past Monday. The place has such a cool vibe,, and amazing atmosphere. The menu is large enough to give you many choices, but not so large that it was overwhelming. We both decided on a gourmet burger. They were different due to having each of our favorite cheeses, and we ordered them cooked differently. My wife’s, medium well, and mine medium rare. As it sometimes happens, the grill chef got the temps wrong, and we notified our server. He immediately took mine back for a re-cook, but my wife was famished, so she chose to keep hers. I ordered a bowl of the soup of the day (tuscan beef), to eat while waiting for my burger, so we could still eat together. It was out of this world!!! While My burger was being re-cooked, the manager came to our table and offered his sincere apology for the overcooked burgers. We said, “ no big deal, it happens”, and told him that the soup was amazing. Shortly after, my new burger arrived, cooked perfectly by the way, and it was delicious! They also brought my wife a re-cooked burger to take home for another time. When we were ready to go, the sever said the complete bill was taken care of by the manger! We were shocked at the level of customer service and effort that this manager put into making sure that our experience was a good one! On the way out, I shook his hand, and the told him that his kindness was totally unexpected, but sincerely appreciated!! The Preserve at 405 is a 5 star establishment, and the manager that day (who said he is usually the kitchen manager) is a true testament to how customers should be treated on the occasion that there is a problem with a meal. Don’t miss this GEM (pun intended, as they also own the Gem Diner). We’ll be...

My friends and I came for dinner after showing dogs at the fairgrounds on Saturday night. I found the listing on Google and thought it a great option for us. I didn’t notice reservations required. Upon arrival we were friendly greeted at the door and asked if we’d made a reservation, we had not. We were told by who I assume is the owner they were over booked but if we’d like to stay they could seat us at the bar with full menu. We stayed, and so glad we did!! The wait was not long and the service was fantastic and attentive despite how busy they were. Our food arrived quickly and was amazing delicious!! We were checked on several times to assure everything was ok or if we needed anything. I had the BLT which was on a grilled bread instead of toast which elevated the flavor profile of your ordinary BLT and I’m pretty sure the mayonnaise was not out of a jar! One friend had a burger and it was massive, he really enjoyed and his wife had a salad which looked amazing, I want to go back for that!! We shared an order of wings which were cooked to perfection as well as appropriately sauced. The food the other guests had looked just as appealing as our choices. Many people near us had ordered the loaded nachos WOWZA!!! They looked incredible and the high piled serving was HUGE!! The atmosphere was fabulous as well as the decor. Don’t pass on this one!! I hope I get to visit the Syracuse area again because I need to come back and try more of the menu!! Thanks for a great night...
