New Long Cheng — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

A Southside staple for many years and is one of the only restaurants that actually serves fried chicken gizzards but if you're looking for a place to deliver you have better luck trying one of the Chinese restaurants or Asian restaurants in Armory Square downtown or even on the Northside the mall this place does not seem to deliver and does not give a definitive area in which it does deliver and they will ask you where you are and then they will tell you no they do not even if you ask them specifically where they deliver they get snippy and avoid...

I frequent this place often when in Syracuse. I eat there at least 2-3 times a month. I love the shrimp fried rice. Its not greasy at all. They give u lots of shrimps. I also love shrimp lo Mei and shrimp egg rolls. The sweet sour sauce is soooooo good,I put on my egg roll and my fried rice. You can literally feed 4 people for $30. My king lives the Rib tips,sweat sour chicken and General Tso’s chicken. Those are his favs. My nephew loves the shrimp in lobster sauce. I have been eating here for at least 15ys. Great food fresh and prices...

New Long Cheng has the serious chicken gizzards. It's american Chinese food with the hood twist! If you are looking for Chinese you know what to expect from New Long Cheng...it's just good. Don't eat it to often though cause they are not shy about saturating food in cooking oil. Also it should be noted that the hot sauce at this place is rather unique it tastes like duck sauce with spice... :/ besides that it is just average I haven't gotten sick. If your in Bird or on campus definitely...
