It smells when you walk into the restaurant. They are highly unprofessional. I ordered 8 empanadas when they first opened to pick up later at 5pm and I get there and there is no product. Customer service was appalling. The guy at the front desk kept smiling knowing we were unsatisfied and did not try to help to fix our order and the lady did not say anything. The guy in the back was doing nothing and when asked he said “oh well.” The food I proceeded to get was bad. I should have known better. This is my second and last time visiting this restaurant. The first time I went there the food was bland, the chicken was fatty, the food was somewhat cold and I had to reheat it at home, the rice was stale, the beans in the rice were hard. Overall completely dissatisfied with the quality of this restaurant after giving it a few chances. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and advertise to keep it out of the public’s eye. I travel for work around central, Northern and southern NY. This Puerto Rica restaurant is one of the best I have gone to. The empanadas weren't filled much, but flavor was fantastic. I LOVE this place! Everything I have tried is great; however, the empanadas are AMAZING! I Think I have tried every empanada in town, and these are the best! The crust is crunchy but not greasy, and the filling is perfectly spiced without the mushy texture other local empanadas have. I buy 2, but one is a decent sized meal, except they are SO good...
