Ashburton Halal Fried Chicken — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

Do not order from this restaurant because they will not honor any deals. The chicken and rice was supposed to be on a special buy 1 get 1 free but they only sent me one order. Plus they food looked and tasted like it was made the day before.

When I tried to call them to ask them what had happened. I was greeted by an extremely rude person on the phone, yelling at me before I could even get a sentence out. Then they proceeded to tell me nothing is wrong with the food and they ONLY do buy 1 get 1 in the mornings, which is a lie because I have ordered from there before. Still, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked if they could please correct this as I am a consistent customer.

She not only shouted NO, but hung up on me. I will never order from this...

...best gyro I've had in Yonkers by far, no lie. The chicken is also really good, also no lie. And the people who run it are really personable...no lie as well.

I've heard this place has went downhill since my initial review due to new management. For the time being I would rely on more recent reviews. I will investigate for myself and update mine in the coming days.

TRY THE OVER RICE OPTIONS

The guy who works/owns this place is very friendly. The staff is really nice and they are quite hardworking. They put the pita underneath the meat and sauce which allows the pita to absorb the sauce/flavor which is AMAZINGGGG. This place is a cut above other places especially with the larger portion sizes.
