CASITA DE ADOBE MEXICAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

This was an average diner, nothing special about it. I was looking for a nice diner to bring a few friends that are coming into town and someone recommended this place and I have to say I won't bring them here I won't come back either. 1. They gave me calamari that was not fresh, you can tell it came out of a bag. 2. I ordered chicken fingers from the appetizer part, and they brought me frozen chicken. Fingers that I could have bought at shop rite and heat it up. I asked for them to take it back and they did and asked for a cheese burger the waiter asked me how I wanted it I stated medium well slightly pink and they brought me a well done burger. Ketchup and mayonnaise didn't help. We asked for a virgin mojito, mind you they had a bar, and they came back and stated they don't have mint. My sons steak had no season on it, no salt, nothing, and it was burnt he was not happy about it. The only thing that was good was the mash potatoes that came with his meal. But everything else was a SUPER FAIL. We will never come back here and we will not recommend...

Worst service! And never going back to this place! I was dining with my family and some friends and waited 2 hours to get our food and when we got it the food was cold. Guess they had our food ready in the kitchen for a while and never brought it to us because they were giving preference to delivery orders than the customers that were dining in the restaurant. The waitresses gave us an attitude because we brought up to her attention that the food was cold and that we didn’t want it. In a nasty way, she said if she takes the food back the owner is going to charge her for the food and that we must pay for the food. At the end we ended up paying for the food and left. This review is for “El Calvario Restaurant” Food is good! Very big portions except for my skirt steak, very food service our waitress fine!
